  1. About Night Battles

Maybe you could set your staff or your club on fire.
  2. Mountains: I'll be in Zendar before you.

Actually, Platemail wasn't that heavy, especially for a horse weighing 2000 pounds.
  3. On lances

I refuse to say anything positive about this guy, as he bumped his thread after waiting for twenty minutes.
  4. Whips?

    That's a flail, buddy.
  5. Whips?

A whip with daggers tied on the end!
  6. Can't find a fight!!!

That is one of the truest statements ever, Qwert.
  7. scenario

I always see Barbarians using big ol' sticks. Or bare hands and squishing people's heads.
  8. armagan, what this game really needs...

Losing Eighty soldiers would be a large blow to the Vaegir army. You forget, they're begging you to get them 11 horses, or 5 Knights, or something like that. These AREN'T large nations. You see groups as large as 80, not 800 or 8000.
  9. Pirates, treasure, ships, sea battles, and other things

I don't see why this would be that hard to implement. I mean, I'm not saying it would be easy, but it could be done like caravans or something. For example, from a coastal city, you can purchase ships of various speeds. From there, you can "Board" your ship, then you'll be able to move across water as your boat. You can guard caravans (If Sea Pirates were to attack you, it would go to a combat screen involving the two ships locked to each other by a small boarding plank. You gotta admit, dueling a Pirate captain on the plank would be a very interesting thing.)

Also, why would cannons automatically mean peasants could use guns? Cannons for a long time were unwieldable by people on land because they were huge and unwieldy. Eventually, medieval scientists figured out a way to create handguns, but it wasn't until a good bit later. Firearms had been in use a long time before the renaissance, on ships and such. Even a few castles had some cannons.
  10. System of implementation of Florentine(twin blades)

You guys have limp protestations. Most of yours are "But it was rare!" or "Why?"

Florentine should be a rare thing to come up against, maybe you'd find the occasional Raider Captain or Swadian/Vaegir general who wielded it.
  11. first or third person?

I play in third, simply because fighting melee in first is a lot harder, especially when you're fighting more than one person.
  12. Whips?

Besides, whips open up the forums to all sorts of S&M jokes.
  13. System of implementation of Florentine(twin blades)

I don't understand why anyone has protestations about Florentine. It has definite advantages (Almost impossible for a two-handed swordsman to block, faster than any other type) and weaknesses. (Less damage than any other type, no shield, less range.). It doens't defy history, there are several examples of dual wielders in history. It was rare, yes, but not unheard of.
  14. armagan, what this game really needs...

Perhaps if your rep gets bad enough, the Sea Raiders or Bandits will entreat with you and you can join them at Dhorak Keep.
  15. New weapons that you would like

Oh, yes, I forgot about something! Throwing daggers! I mean, you've got Javelins, Rocks, and axes, why not some daggers?
  16. Free Horse!

Um..wow. If that's anything new, I'll be shocked.
  17. New weapons that you would like

One weapon I've really wanted to use is a chunk of dried meat. Or a bar of iron. Or a jug of wine. Improvised weaponry, c'mon!
  18. Recruitment for "Hundred-Years War" mod

Okay..now I have to state this..but there's an inherent problem with your mod.

England and France are separated by a channel. I know they had overseas empires and whatnot, but unless you can somehow set up a boat in the game, you're going to have some issues with realism. And last I checked, England had no towns named Rivacheg.
  19. Mafia Mod RPG (?)

Maybe we'd take you more seriously if it weren't for the..ahem.

F^##!NG P!$ses me off Pardon muh french

    or the..

starting a whole new game is for the birds, you would be so suprised to even have a glems of how 'easy' this would be
Oh yes? What was the last game you made? I'm sure you produced World of Warcraft, or perhaps you made GTA 4?

    And the..

i'll update you all with that url address l8rz.

Or maybe it's because you're making a Mafia mod to a game that's based in the medieval era. Ten bucks says that this mod will put a gun sound on crossbows and reskin them with a crappy model and texture, and he'll turn swords, daggers, and whatnot into switchblades. This is gonna be a real classic mod, like something I once fished out of a dumpster.
  20. Long term goals

Very good, I like some of your ideas. One idea of my own that has been bouncing around...

You go to a certain Count/Duke/King, and he informs you that the Vaegir/Swadians are gathering forces for an attack on a certain city. You go there to join in the defense, and the battle begins. Defenders have archers and whatnot posted on the rooftops, etc. And you fight it out inside the city, you and your party and your nation's defenders vs The Attackers.

And vice versa, with you and your party assaulting a city. And if you win, you get loot, and you become the Count of that City, getting taxes every so often and the cream of the hiring, as well as the ability to dispatch raiding parties, scouts, war parties, and caravans. If you controlled enough, you could quite possibly assault the other nation's Capital. (Rivacheg and Sargoth, I think.)
