Whoever the new pope is, he has to be younger (considering most popes are bloody old when they take office), and he cannot back down to people who are infringing on our rights of freedom of worship (I'm talking to you Obama).
He cannot be related to any scandals that have afflicted the Church, he has to be strong of mind and body and faith, as I can tell a whirlwind from the Middle East is brewing, and we are only seeing the beginning of a long time of war. He has to be charismatic and be able to heal schisms in the Church, so basically continue the work of Pope Paul John II.
And furthermore, he cannot be afraid of taking action against anybody who threatens the Church. We are already in between a rock and a hard place, with no where else to turn.
