Back on topic, this is an interesting feature to make it like CK2 or Sid Meier Pirates where your main guy has a shelf life.
You better breed ****load of kids in BL (and have a crazy succession war among your kids when you croak)
I cant wait to play as one of my kids in the civil war to ascend the throne.

Back in WB, I love that special Morningstar that can be 1h and 2h like the bastard sword.
Having the option of a guard breaker attack is a must for me.
Now much of a Xbow person, prefer bows.

LOL I did a mod for this back in Warband days.
I hope we do not have this cattle chasing business in BL

That being said, I hope I do not have to mod in fief trading in BL.
I want to have the option to trade fiefs with other lords in the faction

Yes, but the AI never does this, so they're pushovers when not being controlled by the player.

My advice, take Uhhun Castle and Narra.  The castle will be--by far--the worst of it, as it requires a siege tower, and is a beast to take.  (See this recent thread where I go into more detail.)  Once you have that castle, stuff it full of defensive troops and then take Narra.  Now move most of your troops to Narra, since it's much easier to take, and leave a small, mostly ranged contingent in Uhhun Castle.  It will act as a "honeypot," attracting besiegers away from Narra and grinding them up on the walls.

That's how I usually do it when starting on that side of the map!

I love to pick on Khergits for my 1st territory too, but it is usually Halmar then Narra or Shahriz. Those 3 will always be fought over and weakened, ripe for the picking. Just make sure their original faction gets them back 1st (ie. Khergits taking back Halmar/Narra) before you move in or you attract the attention of the wrong faction.

Ah yes, I seen this quest before. I told the king to bugger off n find his own patsy to do this kinda dirty work. He wasn't happy about my reply as expected. After this, I lost respect for the king n went to help his claimant rebel against him.

You are too kind, Lady Josie. The squier is just venting and not really asking for advice on honor. Losing honor isnt his main gripe, it is money instead for garrison upkeep. Perhaps, you might share your tips for enterprise economy with him? He is not listening to anything about honor. Any attempts to advise him is akin to flogging a dead cart horse with a nord throwing axe embedded in its head.


See here Van, what is happening here is your failure to balance out your faction economy and your income. You keep looting, you lose honor. Thats it, period. You are just whinging about having to pay for many troops. Then fix that instead of looting if you so care so much about honor. Nobody said starting your own faction and garrisoning troops is easy at the start. You have to be ready economically, $$$ in balances with $$$ out. Just suck it up your mistake here and soldier on, or restart a new game with the lessons learnt from this to better prepare you for the next time. What Josie told you:

Well, you could keep doing it, but you can see there's a cost you'll have to pay, in relations and morale if not in coin.  There are other ways to gain money, like trading, establishing enterprises, winning tournaments, fighting bandits (especially Sea Raiders), etc.  The problem is, most of these are best done before you declare independence and go to war with another faction.  You could still trade in a limited way, and you can still beat up on bandits and sell their stuff, although Nord markets are closed to you now.  You can also loot Nord caravans--I don't think you lose honor for that, and they carry a lot of stuff you can sell.

That is golden. Take it to heart.

Cutting damage I believe gets a reduction in damage by armor.

Blunt damage will sometimes cause a "knock down" effect.

Piercing is that, armor piercing, not as easily nerfed by armor like cutting damage.
