    I agree that this idea is pretty impossible at the moment... but I'll keep my eye on this thread because it's a nice idea...

    By all means, you make perfect sense and I don't know hardly anything about the subject  :wink: however, I've had history teachers tell me that we truly have no idea how large they were, but that they were probably bred to be large and strong. I myself thought that it was rather strange that they didn't know how large they were... because that reason alone. Bones... armor... etc. Thanks for teaching me something  :razz:

    I've never played Empire: Total war, so I may not be of much help  :razz: Ship battles are out there in some mods, but to be honest, they're still quite... rough. They play alright, but they're still being tidied up I think. I also don't know anything about a bard mod of any sort. If you'd like to try out some ship battles, then check out Roots of Yggdrassil... there's some others out there with ships too, but they escape my memory at the moment.  :neutral: I also don't know of any cannon mods of any sort. Sorry  :???:

    I would say that the Coursers and Arabians look just about right... they could be a bit taller. I would love it if a mod incorporated destriers though and made them quite tall (not ridiculously, but destriers were probably pretty large and muscular...). Great thread  :mrgreen:

I've recently worked on some conan mod, but lack of concept and the fact that m&b doesn't quite feel conanish has made me rethinking. well, I would need some researchers and map makers, but it's an era I think is perfect for M&b. inner conflicts in the byzantine empire might be a good era to start. also, hopefully more people would be interrested"
    awesome idea! you could have byzantines, persians, and some other nations.  :mrgreen:
    I've been hoping someone would try for a Byzantine mod of some sort! Fascinating era and I too think it would be amazing on Mount&Blade. I'm not a modder of any sort, but I'll follow this closely if you go for it.  :wink:

    Nope, but you might want to make sure that you've updated Mount&Blade to v 1.011. Vista likes to do weird things to older Mount&Blade versions  :wink:

    Thanks for the reply! It's seeming to work suddenly and alls that I've did to "fix" it is when I start a new game I make sure to get in a battle and save the game before I go to the marketplace. It may just be luck, but it seems to work fine.  :grin:

    Sounds like it would be pretty cool, but when I edit the module file and change the scan_module_sounds = 0 to a 1 and try to save it, it won't save it. It says 'Cannot create the C:razz:rogram Files/Mount&Blade/Modules/Native/module.ini file. Make sure that hte path and file name are correct.' I'd really like to try this. Am I doing something wrong?
    Edit: Figured it out by myself  :wink: thanks anyway guys.

    Hello everyone, hopefully you guys can help me with my problems I'm having... So normal native works just fine, and a few other modules work great, but I'm having problems with quite a few of them. I launch the game, it loads with 0 issues. I can start a new game, load a game, everything works...
