    You could use polished buildings to make more epic scenes for some of the towns. It would make nibelheim seem much more like an ancestral city. Just an idea. I've played a bit of the new version and its really nice to see some old units back.

    I don't think it's savegame compatible mate but you could use the cheat menu "Somebody" included to get back the kingdom you've built as well as import your character and your npc heros back into the game. Hope it helped somehow.

    About the Grand Ducal army of Zenislev they used to be a special party in the earlier chapters of teatrc. It had a Voivode leading it, some hussars lancers, outriders with arquebuse and infantry similar to strelets.

  9. NPCs and parties suggestion thread

    It would be nice to see the Deathbringers Mercenary Company make a come back with Commander Bernhart leading it. I don't remember which faction they served though. Perhaps a nirdam resistance party with Ezekiel and his Nirdam Cataphracts? He was in one of the stories in the lore thread.

    Oh and i was wondering, what happened to the Grand Ducal army of Zenislev? Were they disbanded when the Tsar came to power?

    I don't know if you guys remember one of D'sparil's playing character, Captain Souter, he could lead some kind of stormtrooper company for the Imperial state, all of them in imperial cuirass and bascinet, armed with melee weapons and a few of them having some repeating pistols. They make up the 1st Imperial Storm Corps??

    I converted the old dds of the multishot that was used in the mount and blade version of teatrc to a dds format that works with warband. I can upload it if you want. You'll have to create a new material and add the texture file to eagle_radiant.brf though.

    Oh ok, I'll look for what you released in zip format.

    Well i didn't notice much of a difference since i don't play Halmar or the IS that much but I'll test them in custom battle to see how they perform.

    By the way, have u tried setting the guns to penetrate shield instead of bonus against shield? Makes those guns even deadlier than before! As for the Zweihander, flamberge and claymore, It would be better for them to have the spear thrust instead of the two hander one.

    This was talked about in gutekfiutek's other thread, just read through page 13.

    It should solve your white textures problem.

    well since all of the duchy castles are the same you need to replace all the exterior scenes I listed by scn_castle_1_exterior.sco. That's it.

    Well his instructions were for an earlier version of the mod when there were no haelmar union or Duchy. They replace the town and castle scenes of the Imperial State.
    Still you should follow his instructions as well as mine if you want all the castles and towns with additional ladders during siege.

    And about the Castle7 exterior, it should have been Castle 49 and Castle 52... i was copy pasting them to finish quickly and forgot to change that one.

  17. Polished Buildings - Swadian+Vaegir+some new castles pack (RELEASED)

    well i had the same problem but i solved it by putting:

    load_mod_resource = gutek_textures
    load_mod_resource = gutek_materials
    load_mod_resource = gutek_houses
    load_mod_resource = gutek_particles

    before "load resource = castle a" and "load resource = castle b" (by the way those resources are already in the module.ini)

    So you just have to search for "load resource = castle a" using the search function in a text editor and the add the gutek's resources on top.
    Or you could also add them just after "load resource = textures"

    Hope it helps.
  18. Formations don't seem to work?

    The formation does work but only for the HSE, the lion throne and the laurians.

    Quoted from FAQ
    "Standard Bearers:
    -All the Infantry ones, meaning swadian, laurian and throne."

    Yeah you've found me out...  :grin: the wand is so damn pratical that I don't know when to stop using it.
    I'll be increasing the contrast on the other three as suggested.
