havent played spore for a long time

really, unlucky. maybe you can hide and nurture your army again after you were beaten by swadian king, and once you are stonger, take a revenge  .
just don't give up after one defeat. there can never be too much rise and fall, as long as it isn't over.

the ending makes me sinking into my thoughts

you have to play a huge number of mods before you find out what is best for you.

i'm also a fan of spellforce 2. 

i prefer all melee weapons: steel shields, poles, one-handed sword, and two-handed sword, with my favorite heavy charger. cos i like to charge and let the npcs to shoot 

it's a good thing to see someone modifying this mod. i don't have the knowledge, but i just like to see someone do it.  and i like to try your mod
