  1. [e1.1.0] Leadership skill gain for recruiting does not scale well as skill increases

yeah youre right i've forgot that there is times you cant raise an army(which is stupid not being able to control your companion armies) i am so deep in my save that i simply forgot that time.
  2. Food shortage in Cities downward spiral

One thing that seems not balanced well, is if your in an area being attacked from all angles because your king decides to declare war every day to some other faction. Your raided constantly and being 1-2 days away or more causes massive issues with stockpiling high troops of 200 out of 360 or whatever. Your neg food count and being raided sucks totally. There is some really big balance issues that needs to be addressed for sure. Otherwise allow us to have a small party go out and defend the towns with a special party we make up housed at the castle.
Thats what garrisons were for in medieval times.
You had the villagers come to the castle and a group of units would move out to fight the baddies depending on their size or stay inside the castle protecting the lives of the weak.

Would be neat, if our garrisons would be fed before anyone else,so they wont die from starvation and could also get the task of wandering out (maybe under the lead of the governor of that castle/town) and defending your villages.
  3. Seige equipment excluding the ballista are useless in seige defense.

Haven't had a chance to try trebuchet yet
trebuchets have little iron thingy that you can move up and down for the range of fire (dont know how to say better)
if your on the front left side (looking at it from behind) there is this iron thingy on a wooden plank with some marks to it that you can move with W and S
  4. [e1.1.0] Leadership skill gain for recruiting does not scale well as skill increases

you have to be constantly in an army to gain decent leadership.

Yeah rest of the actions are flawed and give way to few XP especially if you do not need to recruit troops when all your troops come from your prisoners
  5. Food shortage in Cities downward spiral

Thank you will give it a try.
i did this aswell and did a post about that on reddit

My main suggestion which is actually really small - feed the garrison before anything else. They're the ones protecting the city, they should be fed first and only starve if everyone else is also starving.
  6. Food shortage in Cities downward spiral

I was thinking why the AI would do that and I noticed something else: the AI is constantly at war, fielding massive armies of mostly chaff (ie low monetary upkeep but you still have to feed the numbers) so their lords buy all the food they come across while moving their armies. As a result, I have a hard time finding villages where grain is under 15 denar. My assumption here is that either lords buy it at any price and clear the villages or the villagers sell it because of the high price due to high demand.

i noticed this aswell in the early days after release i found grain really often for as cheap as 8 denar nowadays the cheapest is like 14
  7. Tools to balance food and prosperity. Detailed suggestions for food shortages.

Hey i did a post about this which kinda correlates with your issue so dont wann make a new post here i just link you my reddit post

  8. Issue with cities' food supply/consumption

I mean the main problem is I just can't have a proper garrison because as soon as one village is raided they all start to starve. I don't really care how it's solved so long as it is solved.
It doesn't necessarily need to be raided, but simply the market gets out bought, because other cities in the area have a food shortage, even enemy cities and neutral caravans buying out your town because their town has higher prices. So you have now a shortage in food aswell and your garrison dies because of this.

Second thought is that you can't even reach 500 unit strong garrison that's 1 food per 20 units = 25 food consumption. You need to starve your cities prosperity down to have 25 food excessive for such a garrison, but in that process you'll even loose garrison as garrison and prosperity are equally treated in terms of food distribution.

Yeah this needs to be changed.
  9. Resolved Bandit Base Near [settlement]

This bug is known although sometimes they come back after 1 or 2 weeks - happened in my game.

Other solution is kick that companion from your clan if possible and pick him back up.
  10. Resolved [Bug] AI parties traveling to an army have intense honey badger syndrome.

i can confirm this. They sometimes shush them way and then come back other times they get caught and destroyed sometimes eeven run past my army.

I am aware that there is a feature that parties that are not in your army yet chase down enemy lords' parties when you click the enemy lords party. So they catch them for you - that is great.

I can think of why that is so. Sometimes you click on an enemy party to follow them only to give up and besiege a castle for eample. The lord that you spent influence on to join your army wasnt in your army at that point and basically took the order from the other side of the map to chase said party down and so never joins you until he engaged said party. But since this was maybe 2 days ago you changed your plans the AI lord did not. just my guess.
  11. Issue with cities' food supply/consumption

Yeah i agree cravans are realisitc buying out food and such.
The issue basically is that the price of fish for example gets really low although thats basically their only food to feed the people in that town. Leading to a sellout of the fish although their food situation overall is dire as nothing else is basically available after such an insertion by the player. The price shouldnt be solely determined by the amount of fish but by the amount of all the food in a city. So that a freshly siege lifted town that got provided by supplies from the player doesnt sell everything out the next day only to have a shortage again. That would nowehre realistically happen.

I think its not a policy issue although they are a great tool to further enable the player to take control over such situations.
  12. Need More Info [BUG] Companion and Lord parties recruit Units from raided/destroyed villages

Summary: Lead an Army with your companion parties and Lord parties. Enter any raided village and they will recruit Units from that village. Not exactly sure about Lords but Companions definetly do, as you can inspect their parties. The numbers from the lords also show they recruited units. How...
  13. Issue with cities' food supply/consumption

So after now 160 hours of excessively playing the game. There are some major issues with cities and their management. The root of all is the food system. I will explain why. Food in cities is important as it fuels everything. From income, troops over militia & garrison to trading. The food in...
  14. Resolved The Spy Party Quest: Spy Appearance Bug

The issue is that Bold and Confident BOTH have the same exact character map. A sword was not included in my clues, just facial and hair features. If it actually meant that he was bald as you say, then both Bold and Confident match the description, still creating problems. I don't think the issue is in the clues given but in character appearance duplication.
Yeah you're right haha but still they always have different weapons. So yeah 50/50 chance
  15. Need More Info [BUG] Caravan doesn't make profit??

Are you at war with someone? Did you manage to locate the caravan? Maybe heavy bandit action?

You need to start the caravan somewhere safe
  16. Need More Info Family Fued Quest bugged

Did you try talking to the guy that you shall bring him to 2 times? That's what solves it for me always.
  17. Resolved The Spy Party Quest: Spy Appearance Bug

The quest has one issue it's basically that if you get the tip about "not bald" it means he is bald.

It is always those 4 contestants. The tips about sword, facial markings and beard are correct. It's just the baldness.
  18. Resolved [e1.1.0 Beta] Weapons Quest

I can confirm this the quest giver only seems to take 1 kind of sword.
  19. Resolved The Spy Party: Description of the spy

If you do the quest right after accepting it you shouldn't have an issue of the contenders spawning or not. That has been my experience at least.I accept the quest, then go directly to town and finish it (except for testing purposes).
Yeah I know it's just if you save within the quest because you are not sure which one of the contenders it is - you reload and the contenders won't spawn. So you have to have a save before that or you have to leave town for like 2mins and come back. So that they spawn again.
