SO you can just add one things:
All XP from your actions will go to global XP bank and that will provide you lvl up
I just dug up my age old forum account to post the same idea.
(and there is no difference between grow from 300 to 301 or from 5 to 6)
This is in fact the killer argument for the current leveling. For me we now actually have two possibilities
Option 1: your suggestion. Make leveling like warband with global XP. The Bannerlord skill system basically makes every skill like weaponmaster in Warband, and I love that aspect about learning in Bannerlord for all skills.
Option 2: Get rid of hard coded Skill points needed, but instead your 301st skill point needs to count more than the 6th one. This is basically what Skyrim does. It can be done with a global pool, but how and when it is fed is different.
I very much would prefer option 1, but option 2 would also solve the unfairness issue.
Please, Taleworlds, go to global xp as before in Warband, it solves basically all problems. Then you can freely adjust level progression by adjusting global xp needed and therefore can adjust available attribute and focus points.
And pretty much independent, just like each weapon skill in Warband was, you can also adjust the speed of learning skills, with the beauty that you can relatively freely adjust/tune each single skill different from others without having to worry about screwing up the global leveling.
