Sorry for the noob question but I just reinstalled warband and looking for some good mods to play

I like the look of this one but not sure what to use/download?

I have downloaded Floris Mod Pack 2.54 but what is this workshop mod?

Is it a expansion for the  Floris Mod Pack 2.54 or it's own standalone mod ?

If it's it's own mod do what the best one to use ?

No problem solecist  and i am not sure where he got them from, but i will send him another PM

I have not a lot of testing but i did get some slow down with the added smoke.

120 is my set max fps.

When about 100-200 muskets are fired my fps did drop to around 80.

Not a big deal and like you said about 300 troops it might effect fps a lot more.

I am not sure if it's a cpu fps hit or gpu or both.

My specs 5870 and amd 955 3.6.

Hay solecist, LochKopf got back to me and he has no problem with the sounds being used

I just had ago online with all the smoke effects on and it let me join and play as normal

I might be  at a disadvantage though with the extra smoke but i don't mind as it looks great

Love the video  going to try this out when my son asleep

Just had quick go and i really like what you done i will be using your sound mod instead now lol.

I don't know if it matters but as you have change the smoke effects would it interfere with online play ?

I used the Pack File Manager for NTW (the others did not work for me as well)

Then i used the Napoleon All In One mod sounds.

When you have the Napoleon All In One mod you will  need to open (Toons_Battle_AI.pack)  in the pack file manager i think the sounds are under sfx.

There are many to pick from so what ever sounds best for you really

Also you need to covert 5 of the 6 sounds to .ogg so looks like this and with the same names as below.

fl_pistol.WAV
poroh_babah1.ogg
poroh_babah2.ogg
poroh_babah3.ogg
poroh_babah4.ogg
poroh_babah5.ogg

Hope you understand that as  i am not best person to give out instructions lol and this my first mod i ever posted online.

Solecist has made a even better sound mod i would recommend you download that sound mod instead as it adds a lot more effects

I am having the same problem as well

I have never seen that bug in warband before though.

I hope it is fixed soon.

I would love more smoke like Mount&Musket as some times you can't even see your target with the amount guns going off lol

I don't know if the new patch today upgrades the sounds but i will probs keep using NTW sounds until there is  a full mod out

Can't wait for the patch and when some one makes a proper sound mod for all the sounds
