    Yeah, got the M&B collection...just to get the original M&B + the DLC (wasted the extra 2 games, since I have em already...but meh, still cheaper lol).

    Australian.
    University student (doing 2 IT bach degrees).
    Study -> Fiance -> Gaming (mainly WB lately, since TOR and ME3 flopped majorly, back to playing classics).
    I used to get bored and mod tanks into Rome Total War, now I do random little mods for games like WB and Skyrim. Usually as buggy as all hell, but they are usually just for laughs...Like an LMG on Skyrm, game gets one sided after that lo.

    If yas get the chance, might want to add things like the ability to exchange fiefs with other lords (from your nation). I believe the Diplo mod can be used as an example of that.

    Anyways, great work so far guys. Much respect from a fellow designer/scripter.

    Knights of Dawn- Why??

    I've lost about 100 men (in fact, they are currently captives to said knights) to those guys.
    They seem to come out of no where too, lol. I've destroyed every other renegade/criminal/minor faction force I have come against, but those guys just seem to rofl-stomp me every time I get a good force going.

    That being said, best bet, avoid them till you have a ton of crossbowmen/archers + pikemen. Or till you have as many heavy cav as they have (which for me, is currently 35...not that easy to get at the start of the game).

    Eh, I like training from the ground up. So I'd have to agree, for the most part. However, recruitment for the cities is good that way. Means you don't need to keep as much of an eye on things there. On one side it can be a bit of a cheat, on the other side it can be an honest help. Gotta keep in mind though, in the grand scheme of things, it isn't one of the top priorities lol.

    You've also got to keep in mind that NPC armies train faster than you do (usually), so being able to save better troops is one way to even the odds out there.
    That being said, you could just not take them...lol. Leave em to disband once you save them. Grab yourself a hundred Selfbowmen from Swadia and you won't need em anyways.

    The only thing I could think of for Rodoks would be to turn then into more of a Crossbow style nation and remove/alter some of their other troops. That being said, they aren't as OP as people seem to think. It is rather easy to wipe out a 200 man Rod army with 100 Selfbowmen from Swadia.
    As for the Nords being too weak, give em some more cav units. The only reason I find them easy is because they are all dead before getting to me (I use Swadian archer armies, so them being mainly foot soldiers makes them the easiest). Perhaps increase the amount of damage they do when they do get into melee as well.

    You aren't alone there mate. Floris has the Brytenwalda mod beat, as well as Imperium Romanum, Diplomacy and Gathering Storm (although Floris does contain Diplo).
    Now if only they'd make a WFaS mod-pack as well  :lol:

    With the use of the WSE Launcher for 2.6, there is some additional room for specific-bot control, but I don't believe to the level that you are suggesting here.

    Not to mention that too much individual control can effect game performance negatively, as well as make commanding larger armies far more difficult.

    Pretty much the ability to kill current nobles, or for them to die at an old age. And whenever that happens, a younger lord is "spawned" from that same family. As for ladies, similar system. Ladies die of old age, new ones spawn...although, the possibilities to assassinate people would be good...assassinate a lady, huge morale decrease for her family...the ability to kill off lords and ladies opens the door to a whole new game aspect.

    I've found that it is the result of several different factors. I've stayed back and not gotten involved in any nation (no manufacturing, trade or anything) and just hunted criminals/deserters. While doing that, Swadia was getting wasted by the Rhods and Khergs. As soon as I started to focus my efforts in the Swadian region though, the tides turned in favor if the Swadian forces.

    So depending on where you kill criminals/deserters, trade, and manufacture, you can have a very real effect on the strength of that nation. Makes sense, the more money you put into a nation (and the safer you make it) the more forces (and better equipped ones at that) they will have.

    While we can hire a fairly decent staff already, why not add to it. Enable the ability to train the constable, so he can train other troops faster. Perhaps a doctor, to increase the heal rate of you/troops whilst inside the city he is in.

    Also, I know many of you would have seen the siege weapons (the trébuchet, for example) that are deployed during sieges in the game, however they are never used (they sit idle). Why not add an option to recruit siege weapons (mercs, perhaps, or maybe you are required to build a siege facility in a city and recruit from there). You can use the model that is already in the game, add soldiers standing about it and effectively make it fire the grenades from M&B WFaS. Just an idea, and I know, it is a decent task.

    Yes, that would be awesome. I just finished funding my first manor but to my disappointment it only exist in writing. I was expecting to see an enter-able house somewhere in the village. Also, It will be nice to have a "defensive wall" type of improvement which could be upgraded from simple wooden logs to more advanced rock/brick material. This wall improvement may very well be the most expensive(and slowest to erect) since it will buy some peace of mind and you know how much that was worth in the Dark Ages. Just ideas. I know talk is cheap but since this is a suggestion/idea forum, oh well.

    Just realised that the "Downs" was actually meant to be "Towns"...whoops, my bad.
    Anyways, yeah, I personally like the idea of being able to have your towns dependable. Not really something that needs to be put in by a long shot, but would still be cool.
    That being said, If a noble of the same faction as you is your enemy, it would be nice to be able to fight them (for honors sake, if need be) and the winner sets the terms for how things go between you and the noble...or you kill them. Just an added way of dealing with the feuds that start between nobles.
