Hi!
I have a few questions:
1. What are diamonds for?
2. Is it possible to break away from a faction and take the fiefs with you somehow? I currently have five fiefs and would hate to lose them if I rebel.
3. Are some troops restricted from being taken prisoners? I noticed that I never got serpent priestesses or fallen Meltine nobles (name?) as prisoners after I hit them on the head with my club.
4. What is the benefit in training your stewards ten times over? (apart from the minor relations bonus) I noticed that I was getting engineering up to a certain point, now it's stuck at 4 after 4-5 training sessions. Do the other stats also matter somehow?
5. Are Wolfbode/Maltise/others scripted to attack cities? Or is it random based on their proximity? I had Wolfbode attack Ravenstern when I was inside, but later I reloaded and he wouldn't attack it no matter how many times I kited him there.
6. Do you get less money from bidding in a tournament based on how high the relations you have with the city where it takes place?
7. How do you get Noldor pottery? Trade goods doesn't seem to be accepted by the elf in Elacrai.
8. Did trade stop working as a party skill? "Various loot" stays at 1250 sell-price even though I increase my companions trade-skill.
9. Is it better to have an enemy lord captured in your inventory if you have a high prisoner management skill? Or is it better to drop him off into a city/castle that has prison tower?
10. Is there any other way to get more RtR other than peace with enemy factions? And also what's the recommended RtR before making your own faction?
11. Is "Wealth" and "Reputation" supposed to show nothing for the player?
12. Is there a list of all in-game achievements obtainable?
Sorry for the wall-of-text!
I will try to answer what i know, so here we go.
1 - Diamonds can be exchanged into Denars, just talk with the Guildmaster of any town and choose the option to Sell, you can also transform your denars in Diamonds, that was made for the purpose that even if you lose a battle, you don't lose a lot of denars, so for example, you buy a Big Diamond costing 100k+ and store it in your castle chest, so you don't to fear losing the money in battle.
2 - Yes, when you rebel if i'm not mistaken you take all your fiefs with you, so plan a lot and exchange fiefs with other lords to make them near each other, so when you rebel you don't have Fiefs separated across the map.
3 - Yes, some troops cannot be Knocked down, Fallen soldiers and Serpent are not living beings, so they cant be captured, and even if you ''kill'' them with a blunt weapon, they will just die instead, you can never capture these type of units.
4 - There's no such a thing as ''Training a Steward a number of times'', If you have 5 Engineer skill and you train him, he will update his skills to 5 Engineer, never past that, Every time you train your steward, he will have your skills level, so if you have only 5 point in engineer, no matter how many times you train him, he will never go past what you have, so to improve your steward, you have to improve your skills and then train him again to update his skills.
5 - Not scripted, just random, if they feel like attacking they will attack, also, keep in mind you can't force them to attack, so luring them near a town will not make them attack the town, they have to do it on their own, so kiting them near a town will just make them follow you, that can also happen to the player towns so be aware of that, for example, Laria is usually sacked by the Noldor armies, so be sure to have positive relations with them if you plan to take Laria for yourself, to avoid being attacked.
6 - Random, i don't think relations with the town influence the Reward, there's 3 types of Rewards in a Tournament (When you make a feast in a town this option shows to how much you wanna spend), so if the Lord of that Town made a expensive feast, then the tournament will give high rewards, something like that, someone correct me if i'm wrong.
7 - Noldor loot, defeat noldors and you have a chance to get it from their loot inventory, i don't know if they sell them at elacrai tho, nor if they sell it in human towns.
8 - I think Various Loots/Gold Bar and Qualis Gem has a fixed price, i might be wrong, but from what i've seen in the game, all Various loots i sold had the same price, no matter Trade skill.
9 - Castles are much more reliable in keeping lords prisoner, having them in your army will just make them flee eventually.
10 - Check this link http://pop3.wikia.com/wiki/Right_to_rule it shows all ways of getting RtR, the minimum for fouding your own kingdom is 30 (otherwise everyone is gonna declare war on you)
11 - If you mean the ''Player Character'' tab in Notes, then no, Player has no reputation or Wealth description, all lords have them tho (Except Kings i think)
12 - There is http://pop3.wikia.com/wiki/Achievements
