Ohhhhhhh.  I have to say, I love whenever an enemy faction sieges me with 1500-2000 troops and I defend with only like 250-300 and win.  IT's epic as heck

YeS!! this was the best mod for the previous version of mount and blade! you are amazing to port this to Warband!!!

Apologies, I ought to have been more clear.

I mean, the shields and armor that normally show the flags such as Kite Shields and Herladic armor with long surcoat, etc. are not working for my two new factions.  This tutorial shows more how to add those meshes to other gear that normalyl does not have them.  However, I could try making another exact same version of the item and just give it to those certain troops.  I'll try it out then let you know.

All of the lords now have totally different shields too.  Like, Ragnar has on his flag and his background information the Nord banner with a raven on it, but all his troops carry the Vaegir faction shield (panther).  hahaha frustrating.

I am definately using the camel when I get a chance to mod! Time to get some real mamluke warriors down XD

you need to add stuff in module_presentations , can't tell you exactly where because I'm at work but flags don't appear and things in siege if you don't add those in.  There are also bits in module_scripts where you need to define faction 7 and tell it what kingdom shield to use.  If you want your own custom shields/banners then you need to make these resources and load them in via module.ini.  These need to also be stated in module_scene_props.

yeah, this tutorial still needs some Mesh, Scene_props, and script python code to fully use all custom flags and banners in the game.  As I am currently building  a mod, I could finish the Tutorial if you'd like, Mr. Master.  That okay? 

Took out Highest quality gear on looters.  Will make all troops in looters faction balanced.. Stats will be slightly lower than main faction troops, and gear will be less elite, but what they lack in skill and better equipment, they'll make up in with options fieldable. fun stuff.

Sea Raiders are on the way to being balanced.  Having some different gears as well as similar traits to Nord Huscarls (though not as strong)  Here is what ive slowly come around to..  They do not have the Great Long axes, but they do have the longer, single axe, as well as some very large kite shields instead of the nordic round shields. . . they carry regular swords, less throwing gear, more spears, more armor and helm options, ... take a looksee

Hmm, after thinking about it too much, Ive made a choice to make the factions a little more balanced. I will keep the weaker units like looters and farmers for those who'd probably still want to play them, but I think I'll add troop types that allow for a more balanced play with better gear upgrades like native has. 

First thought I had was to put in Watchmen (crossbowmen) Man Hunters (Infantry) in the Villager faction with better gears so that your options are not only men madly wielding stones and pitchforks.  I think Looters will be okay, I may just add the upgraded versions of the gear they have.  Mercenaries will have Caravan guards and masters as the weaker Comical troops while Mercenary crossbowmen (ranged) Hired blade (infantrY) and mercenary calvary will have the better upgrades.  Deserters will have upgrades as well.. Tournament fighters will also be able to pick better versions of their tourney gear. 

As for the Others group, I am not sure yet.  I may use it to include my own made up troop types with various upgrades and such.  Of course, others will still have a messy crazy side...

This I have not seen and so it is that awesome.
Mods change weapons/scenery and so on but the concept is a new one for you so you must complete it.

As for now, the focus will basically be on creating seperate factions and finishing the main bit of this mod,  but I would like to aim in the future to create some new scenes with new objects.
