    I'd like to see some more javelin -like weapons too (Romans! :wink:)

    I don't think they need a huge boost. Just maybe 6 per slot at the very least with a bonus vs shields.

    I don't know what the damage type on grenades and explosive bullets are, but I think they get mitigated by heavy armour far too easily for them to be worth it.

    I also forgot to mention in my last post:
    Poison vials: dunno if its just me, but I've never seen them actually do anything.
    Healing vials: similar problem

    Eurgh. As much as I dislike the Beserkers idea, any new faction is a good faction.

    Also, I noticed one class (maybe demon hunter, can't remember) got double pistols at wave 11 AND 15, with the same stats. Seemed like a wasted slot...

    Would it be possible to bring in a few more arrow varieties? I mean, the crusader archers get... 2 types of arrows, basic and wave 11... Why can't there be a bit more variety inbetween? I find those middle waves quite difficult as the damage output just isn't enough.

    Also, I've been experiencing a lot of crashes when using traps, if I don't play a mage, the game is fine, but as soon as I switch to mage, throw down a few traps and kill a few things the game crashes.

    Also works along the same lines with exploding bullets, it seems sometimes I kill 2 enemies at the same time on my computer, but my friend (playing via LAN) only shows as me killing one person.

    Also, there is the standard summoning error appearing on screen whenever there is a summoning.

    On a side note (I know I've mentioned it before)
    Throwing weapons: 4 is not enough to justify a slot, especially when they don't kill and have terrible accuracy.

    Bombs / exploding bullets: overall damage / area of effect (or both for bombs) is not enough. you get 1 shot, it does meh damage and knocks a few people over. Not worth a slot. Exploding bullets just don't seem to be an improvement on standard bullets. Sure you can hit 3 people at once, but if it takes 5 shots to kill them... why bother?

    Gun-axes: The last line isn't a gun axe at all. Forcing you to chose between carrying an actual melee weapon as well, or using an inferior gun (which takes 3-4 shots to kill later enemies) a slight downer for the Assassin.

    Is there any way to increase the number of mercs up to 8 or 10 or even 12 per person? I find mercs are not only stupid, but they hold their attacks for ages, refuse to switch weapons and face the wrong way, leading to huge slaughters against even the weakest skeletons and thralls.

    Seriously, they sit there holding their sword up for about 4 seconds, in which time the skeleton has turned around, swung and killed him. They don't consider blocking, and they ALWAYS do it. The only way I've seen them kill anything is through ranged shots (though their accuracy always seems worse than the enemies) or mobbing the enemy.
    3 pistoleers against 6 watchmen at long range should not result in 4 watchmen dead, 2 by headshots.

    Also, when is the release date? This weekend (as in tomorrow) or next week?
    Seriously hoping this week, as I have friends round and we want to try a 5 way game with the new mod :grin:

    Firstly. I love the new map, very fun.

    Which class gets turrets? I couldn't see it.

    Can you explain how traps work I noticed only one could be placed at a time, but when an enemy went near it nothing happened. When I threw it directly at an enemy it was insta-death.

    Didn't get far enough into a game (solo) to check healing potions etc, but the blood knight is a tank now. Only lucky hits and mobs should be able to take him out :grin:

    Romans should have a standard foot soldier, shield, throwing spears (pilum) and the gladius.
    Maybe a banner bearer, gives a buff to nearby soldiers, no shield.
    Possibly a skirmisher, lighter armour, better javelins, smaller shield.

    No horses

    I'd hold off on suggesting things for the Crusader until 0.7 is out. Didn't you say there were some changes to the crus. happening in 0.7?

    If you start giving them 2h weapons, they become too much like the other heavy armour wearing melee class

    Oh nerash were being setups when you asked for a gattling gun??! I mean that's extreme ant it for mount blade

    Play the War getting Worse mod. There are gattling guns in that. Of course, they have crap damage, firing them quickly was a bad choice due to accuracy (think shooting a bow with no skill while riding at full speed) meaning hitting the target 2ft in front of your was still 50.50

    It was balanced by being extremely rare, having 40 ammo and low damage.

    As for whether it should be in the Demon mod?

    - Leather Armor, Dagger as melee weapon, buckler shield? (Very small, low HP), Longbow, with piercing arrows.

    And if you ever decided to add, say, a Napoleonic Era kind of faction?

    Grenadiers; Lots of cheap, early accessible grenades, and a Musket with bayonet.
    Cloth Armor, you know, the standard.

    And of course, called Nords or Vikings or Vikingrs or something similar....

    I'd find it funny to see a gattling gun like in war getting worse. It holds about 40 ammo, but is stupidly inaccurate if repeatedly fired (which I dislike) - somehow the game has a problem registering hits very quickly.

    I'd like to see a non-pistol version (making it look a tad more realistic) a tighter firing circle, but lower damage.

    Assassin melee troops cost 200 (base) while archers cost 100, I think there's a cavalry remnant there somewhere.

    I'd love to see something Roman! :grin:

    A basic troop with the standard short sword, shield, heavy armour and throw javelins
    Centurion with better skills but lighter armour / no shield  (or something)

    And I'd love a class based around throwing javelins.

    Not trying to be rude, but where are you getting the idea for a Spear on a Ranger or Woodsman?
    I really feel like a jerk for saying this, it's honestly not intended.

    When I think of a woodsmen, or ranger, I think Bow, or Axe. (Or gun, in this time period.) And well, tbh, that's it.
    Just wanna see where you got this idea :grin:

    Spears were the weapon most often used for hunting, while an axes only job was chopping wood. I'd be asking why they have gun more than spears.

    Taking up more of the screen than it really needs to? blocking the view for innacurate aiming?
    I vote no on sideways.

    If that's the same combat mod that's in most of the warband mods I vote no too. The swings are too flashy and generally irritating. They look more like 2 ponces going at each other with wet fish that a couple of hardened warriors trying to sever a few major arteries.

    Love this mod. It has exponentially increased how much I play WFaS with my friends.

    I'd like to ask for a few improvements though, such as expanded weapon selection for a few classes and a larger selection of armour, esp. for the classes that only have 1/2 armours to begin with. Even if they just have a slightly reduced weight.
