    Cheer up, it was just some self induced paranoid mind trip which I couldn't resist to expand and share...
    I'm no hater, I compiled a big list of good ideas while playing the game.
    I'm thinking of learning to mod...

    Here are 2 epic ideas which will make the game much better:

    Thicker woods and more "props" on the battlefield for tactical usage and for a bit of countering the fire arms.

    Fire arms can jam: 20-40% chance for fire arms to jam after walking through water (so rivers can also be used tactically)
                                  20-40% chance for fire arms to jam during rain and mist.
                                  60% chance for fire arms to jam during heavy rain.

    We are the villagers.

    Taleworlds is the "Hero" taking our money but not giving it back (investing it in future console releases instead)

    So ironically liars cannot keep a secret and Taleworlds obsessed with their own cunning plan, made the game like how they progress themselves.

    Ironically the game is also as simple as that:

    The game looks hard in the beginning and is actually hard...
    It is hard until you reach the quest to take tax money from villagers and supposedly give it back...
    You just don't give it back, buy mercenaries and you "won the game"
    Well the game is not over yet... You just have to send caravans until you have 5 million and then you can supposedly find out how bugged sieging is.

    Too many deserters/bandits

    What a nonsense!

    This is so easily countered by getting 40-50 men.

    This mechanic where they ALWAYS flee from you if you have 50 men is discuss-able, because after that you are always totally free to trade if you have neutral alliance with everyone.
    You just click a city, press ctrl-space and you don't need to worry about anything...
    So there should be different regions like rpg's.

    Initially it is quit hard to flee from all bandits but it's not that hard and thereafter you don't have to worry about them (if you don't make mistakes to drop below 40-50 men)

    So get a quest where you have to collect taxes for someone.
    Don't give the tax money back but buy a lot of men instead.
    Done.

    The main inspiration for starting something was when I saw a clan training as swedish musketeers.
    That asked for a melee response.

    Good idea, since you will be the first member it is very tempting to accept it.
    But I was thinking if we didn't use fire arms we will add some identity to the clan.
    We will see, some fire arms might not hurt.

    You don't have to copy CoD...

    You can give the multiplayer a very "rpg-ish" levelling structure.

    I don't have some sort of pipe dream about points flying through the screen with a Tell sell dude screaming: "LEVEL UP! YOU ARE AWESOME!"

    It's very simple, a point system that rewards points for a round win with your team and points for each damage done MOTIVATES teamplay which is clearly lacking.

    Everyone doing their own thing and trying to steal kills isn't really realistic also isn't it?

    A point system like above would also add to the REALISM and the dramatic feel.

    For me the fact that you also get rewarded for doing 90% damage instead of stealing someone's kill is reason enough for a system like this...

    Everything that increases teamplay is something good.
    And of course you can model an xp system to make players even more selfish, but the point is to model an xp system to make players think about their team.

    haha I know there is a lot of cynical std here but this for people that understand what it is about.

    A multiplayer point xp system only has the goal to stimulate teamwork.

    So you get points for doing damage as well as 1 on 1 kills.
    There is no teamwork because everyone thinks about his kill death ratio.
    A point xp system could change that.

    I agree it would be hard to mod so that is why the petition is directed at TaleWorlds.
