    I don't hate the Caravans, hell if combat was the only visible way to make decent money I'd be asking why trade isn't viable. I just like to have a choice and from what i was reading on the forums and my experience with the game so far, it seemed like the caravans were the only thing in the game capable to keep you stocked on enough currency to keep a quality army and have decent gear. I still think that is the case seeing as you claim to be able to make 100k by selling an item to a shop and talking to an npc while baughb, after fighting 5-6 groups only ended up with a "few" pieces of loot worth 1-2k.

    How exactly do you become a mercenary for a faction? Also, how did you reach the point where you had the equipment and troops needed to do that because aside from looting villages i haven't been able to make much profit from anything combat-related early on.

    How can you afford the troops needed then? They tend to die fairly easily unless you have some really expensive ones.

    Everyone talks about nothing but trade and caravans. What if I want combat and don't want to trade for hours before I can do it, thought WFaS stood for With Fire and Sword, not With Fur and Spices :sad:.

    From what I can gather, it seems that trading and caravans is forced on you in WFaS. Is there a way to get decent or even semi-decent income as a soldier or something like a mercenary band? I'd rather play a soldier than a trader.

    Crash on multiplayer

    I was getting the same issue. Oddly, setting the compatibility mode to windows server 2003 fixed it... go figure. I'm using Windows vista 64.

    Bring a blunt weapon when you loot villages, you'll never run out of peasant women, just recruit them from prisoners later. Also, I keep finding bandits with 1-3 of them as captives.

    Almighty Huntresses

    I had fun looking at my units' stats and I was surprised, the Huntress has 10 ironflesh, 10 powerstrike, 10 powerdraw, an 10 athletics. Sword sisters don't get anywhere near those stats. I think there's something wrong with them, unless this is some sort of superwoman feature I don't know about.

    if I press P I can see my party unit list, the issue is the camera points to where it thinks my party should be, but even if I click somewhere the party doesn't move, it just isn't anywhere anymore.

    I just clicked on the map to stop resting and then I left town like I usually do(through the menu I think) and then my party was nowhere to be found, even though the camera seems to think it is there. the cheat's teleport didn't help i need a way to spawn the party back from the void in which it is lost.

    Two-handed weapons won't cause a problem with sieges at the moment since in the most recent version the shield AI is broken and they wont use it against archers/crossbowmen and just get shot at anyways.

    Well, judging by the fact that there is now a test scene with a fairly trashed castle, I think it is highly probable that we will get to see siege machines in the final version.

    Maybe that's why, in some battles, they like to walk sideways or diagonally.
