    I used morph editor of which is the one above, to edit dwarves (from TLD mod)... the armor etc upgrades when i look at the units in my party tab... but the skills dont. Also the dwarves have now bugged out and have floating human heads.

    How long would it take to make a small mod of which consists of troops already in fire & sword? The map would be small and there would be 2 warring factions. I will use this just to play myself and to see how much work larger mods actually require. Does anyone know the tutorials i will need?

    Months/years. Christ. Wait so... just to create my own map... get guns working on vikings DLC. That would take months/years? I could use armor sets from DLC's/the game and not release it... if that meant saving lots of time. But i have a feeling the scripting is what takes up all the time.

    Due to me being a beginner and also time withstraints. I will likely go on that forum and ask others if they want to help me out and/or just make it themselves (and with me giving ideas alongside or something). I doubt anyone will be interested. If so i will dabble into scripting but I doubt it will be something i shall excel at.

    I was honestly looking at it just to play instead of making the mod. This mod idea is based on something I'd really like to play myself. I played it for a bit and i didn't like the ship combat. I much prefer vikings where you sail your ship on wavy waters and try to crash into them. Also the way enemies boarded my ship was buggy and weird as hell on blood and gold. The bit I believe i will struggle with is the scripting. I've never done it. It sounds like some sort of coding to me.

    EDIT: maybe i will give it a shot. IT is 15 pounds but if i play it for less than 2 hrs i can get a refund if i hate it.
