Nah,  someone switched some names, it's King who's the bronie.

Edit, I got that one wrong too, I'm pretty sure they said Celtic.

If you were stuck inside the last game you played...

Well, considering I was last playing SWTOR as a Bounty Hunter with cybernetic implants about to steal a ship, and with a hot girl who doesn't hate me, I'd say not very screwed at all.

When to Choose What Weapon [Melee]

Personally, I'd go with a mace. No edge to maintain, simple to use, more effective against tin can or mail armour than a sword or axe, and hitting someone in the stomach to stun them, or  breaking their arm, is just as good as cutting one of those areas if you follow up on it correctly. If you're facing someone with a polearm, you have no more disadvantage than someone with an axe or a sword. So for hand weapons, I'd definitely take a mace.

    And a shield of course.

Greatest last stands in history for a worthy cause

    Skot the Sanguine 说:
Well there was a part of that battle near a camp tent that Saladin was in awe of how stubborn and bravely the Crusaders defended it.  So that part of the battle I would agree applies.

As for Teutoberger Forest, ignoring the initial butchery, the desperate defense of the remaining survivors was indeed great given the circumstances...the extent of which we are still trying to ascertain (getting closer with time though).

I was at Culloden this September, it was a bitter battle for sure...if the Scots weren't exhausted from their forced march maybe they would have had a better chance of success...was a bit of a massacre though.

You pretty much pinpointed where I was referring to in Teuoberger and Hattin, but with the "Last Stand" part when I mentioned Culloden it sorta became a "do or die" situation for the Jacobite's, they needed to survive the battle without to many casualties or they were done. It was a last stand for the entire rebellion not a actual last stand in battle.

Greatest last stands in history for a worthy cause

    Skot the Sanguine 说:
Twas more of a "don't throw dung at us for what we did in the past when your own ancestors were guilty of such things too".  It was wrong, obviously, but sadly it is human nature and often done in the days before political correctness...when man A has good land and resources that man B wants, man B will take it if he has the means to do so.  Is it right?  No.

Aye Skot, just cause it isn't right doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Let's all get back on topic shall we? I think some of the Romans at Teutoberger Wald were pretty determined in their last stand, as well as the Knights at The Horns of Hattin.

But to me the real greatest last stand of history was Culloden 1746.

    Strategy

My tactics are quite simple yet work very well, then again I use pretty much 100% cav armies

1: Lead a single lance & saber charge to break up their formation
2:eek:rder cavalry to use ranged weapons
3:watch as your army rides the disorganized AI into ruin
    4:Wash, rinse repeat
