My favorite part is in the Khuzait or Sturgian tournaments when you both get spears and shields and stand in front of each other blocking eachother's jabs till one of you gets a 20 damage hit in and then you both block for 10 more minutes and get another 20 damage in and then one of you dies of old age. Riveting gameplay.

I feel like 1.0.3 brought in alot of lag issues then 1.0.4 fixed the lag issues but now the game crashed way more often and now with 1.0.5 it lags sometimes (not as much as 1.0.3) and also crashes all the time. I'm crashing in battles constantly when before I wasn't.

It doesn't work for me. After every battle or every time i reload the units revert back to what they were at. really frustrating

I have the same experience really frustrating cause i get shieldless units in my shieldwall

It makes sieges take longer which should theoretically fix snowballing. So far my playthrough is close to day 100 and everything is evenly balanced and there's no snowballing but it's still relatively early so can't confirm.

Good job but I'd still really appreciate it if you guys could fix the savegame reloading crash. My Rolf of House Rolf playthrough sits in a lonely standstill.

For alot of the issues you're listing I recommend the Bannerlord Tweaks mod. The developer is constantly updating it and even in this early stage it fixes alot of the issues that make the game unfun.

The only useful companions I've found are Frostbeards, Healers, Willowbarks, Luckys or Bloodaxes. Frostbeards have the best scouting, Willowbarks and Healers have good healing (I can't really tell their difference except the willowbark will ***** at you for raiding towns and the healer won't), Luckys are by far what i look for and I check the encyclopedia often to see if any more Luckys have been generated since they have 60 tactics which means you can send them off to lead armies and caravans and not worry about them getting thrashed every two seconds. Bloodaxes have 30 tactics (thought it doesn't show up on their character sheet) and usually there's only one Lucky in a playthrough till later so I use them for the same purpose as a Lucky. Anyone with the name, the Red, or the Shieldmaiden is a baller tier combatant but honestly so are upgraded units and you only get limited companion slots so I tend to ignore them maybe only picking up one (in my Battania game I picked up an Aeric the Red cause the name was too perfect). I haven't really found much use for Roguery companions and I really really wish that there was an Engineer companion that I could actually make my engineer but I haven't found one yet.

Is the savegame loading crash fixed?

I think the only thing the devs should be concerned about right now is making the game playable.

I don't think it's an unreasonable expectation, early access or not, to expect a game to be playable.

The reason people are complaining is because there are bugs that are so glaringly obvious that the most minimal of playtesting would have discovered them which makes you wonder how they could be either so incompetent as to not catch them or deceptive enough to knowingly release a literally broken and unplayable game and charge money for it.

Charm is literally impossible to level up. Leadership benefits from high morale but you don't get high morale unless you have high leadership oof.


I like the concept of the more you do an action the better you get at it but there needs to be accounting for the actions that are straight up not worth doing unless you're already good at them. Maybe make it so that focus points also put some points into the skill to bring you up to speed but not enough that you could max it. That way if you wanted to level charm for instance but dont want to fail a bunch of checks you could put points in it to make it viable and then actually use it to max it.
