I am facing the same issue. As soon as I launch e.1.7.0 the game says it has encountered a problem and needs to close.

The crash reporter also doesn't work, saying "Failed Try Sending Again!"

All other versions of the game work, no mods used, tried every solution given in the Crash Checklist thread.

I'm in the same exact boat as you, no solution on the checklists or anywhere online have helped me, from deleting xml's all the way to my 4th clean install

Unrelated to old saves, I'm attempting to run a clean install at 1.70, I have tried every single troubleshooting step, up to and including 3 separate reinstalls of the game with no remaining files on the PC and Steam cloud save sync disabled. I am also unable to send crash reports even after letting every single bannerlord exe through my firewall.
