    ...dialogue option for one un-married lord. I tried and failed a romance attempt on him and ever since I haven't seen that dialogue option show up for *any* other un-married lords. Is whether or not this option shows up tied to your current influence or some other stat the game doesn't tell you...

    You already get a message when you kill someone.

    When having your horse killed from under you as cav, you should take a medium/high amount of damage when you fall. Also would it be possible to make cannon destructible? As it is artillery duels are rather odd matches where you try to hit the artillery crew and not the gun itself, which is a much larger target.

    Haven't really seen this, but the artillery class seriously needs to be limited to 2 players a gun on siege maps. It's incredibly frustrating playing arty right now as on most siege maps you've got about 12-16 people fighting over four guns.

    A small "whump" when you get a hit with artillery would also be nice. And I really want to be able to turn the kill log off as that damn thing takes up so much space.

    Club to head = knocked out or badly wounded. Bayonet to face= dead. No real difference

    That sort of blunt force trauma to the head could easily kill someone, and it'd be much easier than trying to force a bayonet through someone's skull.

    Fort York

    5) Also, many of the land battles involved river crossings which would add an anphibious element to battles that hasn't been fully realized in the present game:

    Queenstown Heights
    New Orleans

    Except, you know, in that war that the post you quoted mentioned. I'd be all for it if it means that much more variety and spice to the game.

    Not sure if this goes here, but I can't download anything from M&B Repository. My download speed starts off at 150kbps then drops off to 30kbps, which is utterly ridiculous. I should be getting near 1mbit. It's not a problem with my modem or my connection, I can download games off Steam at full...

    Yep, still having the same problems, server list loads fine but either I've entered the incorrect password when the server isn't passworded or it's Unable to Connect, and it kills my internet.

    Checked those threads, seems like most of the people on them have tried the solutions and they don't work. It's been a year since those threads were made, why hasn't Tale Worlds patched this problem yet?

    It's not a problem with the server list showing up so much as it is Warband killing my internet when it loads the browser, and the browser being unable to connect to any servers every once in a while.

    My first quote was a response to you, Barman, on how to install. I then addressed AdrianC's concerns, which I thought were directed to the wrong version...so I wasn't confused on which version you were using.

    However, you'll want to look at the list of included mods for Basic again in the Intro/Download thread. No new units are added in Basic, just items, scenes, and banners. So you're not going to find the highlanders or priests no matter how hard you look. I believe their items should be for sale, but they are likely quite rare and may take a higher level to see with any regularity.

    1) For the module.ini, place the lines near the bottom of the file and they should work fine. I place them after all of the load_resource declarations.

    2) For the module.ini, comment out/remove whatever lines you find from the instructions. Don't worry about the ones you don't...as the instructions say, some module.ini's will have different lines (depending on what you're adding Floris basic to). [# at the front of the line = comment out = disable]

    3) For the item_kinds1.txt, the Support thread includes a correction--it was actually just repeated in one of the most recent posts. Only 1578 items are added, not 1579. So subtract one from the number instructed. [So you add 1578 to the number (in Native, 600 something) there.]

    You've just described the download and installation process for Floris BASIC, not Expanded. Basic adds items and changes some scenes, etc, but no features are added. I believe you're dealing with the wrong version of the pack for what you want.

    How does one go about acquiring this armor? Playing with Floris mod, haven't seen it in a shop yet  :sad:.
