I gave up on them and registered the original Warband key and Viking key just now on Steam and let it download (Go to Steam Library, click Add a Game at bottom and select activate a product)

Your Warband key can be found with regedit (assuming windows), for Win 7 the key is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MountAndBladeWarbandKeys\serial_key and should be 4 blocks of 4 characters.  Activate Warband on steam and it will start downloading, then activate Vikings on steam and it will download as soon as Warband is done.

I'll just turn of auto-update which was the primary reason I never let steam touch warband.

I and some other guys bought a linux server and it will run a vikingr server when we got every thing on native server running smoothly, but its most to south america guys, because if EU or NA players enter in the server, they will have a high ping.

Make sure that your X server is running and that $DISPLAY is set correctly.
