Resolved Memory leak: RAM does not unload after simulation (battles, visiting cities, villages etc.)

Even reloading the game for me doesn't seem to stop the stuttering, it was getting so bad to the point where the game sometimes froze up for 10-15 seconds and this is consistent in every battle/siege. Custom Battles are completely fine though, I can even do 250 v 250 sieges and it runs fine, strange thing is I didn't have this problem when I first started playing about 5 days ago, it's gotten worse with every patch for me to the point where I'm just playing MP right now due to the stutters/lag.I too have 8GB of DDR4 RAM and a RX 580

Curiosity question, are you by any chance playing this game with headphones?

Resolved Memory leak: RAM does not unload after simulation (battles, visiting cities, villages etc.)

Been playtesting for a few hours. Including this new patch, and while there is improvement, it's far from enjoyable on 8GB rigs... Still too frequent do I have to reload the game and have to suffer from some serious stutters. It's playable, but far from enjoyable.

Resolved Memory leak: RAM does not unload after simulation (battles, visiting cities, villages etc.)

With the 1.0.8, we have sent the first batch of the memory leak fixes. Can you check it out? Waiting for your feedback. Thanks in advance.

Congratulations and thank you for the wonderful improvement on the performance issues.

It's not smooth sailing for me as of yet, it still has frequent stuttering but only during the startup of each scene/battlefront and some occasional stuttering during battles. Not the powerpoint slide it was on patch 1.0.7.

It's first glance ofcourse, but I can *atleast* run the game at the start now and actually playtest it on this 8GB RAM rig. So it's a start. Please dont **** it up in upcoming patches.

Interesting, seeing that the patchnotes for 1.0.8 on steam didn't state there was performance fix. I will check right now to see if it's changed. I have a 8GB rig so I should notice it quickly enough.

EDIT: It seems either I was wrong about the patchnotes not having that included or it was edited in afterwards. Either way it's incl.

Resolved Using RAM for integrated graphics cards

Sorry to burst your bubble but a integrated graphics card wont cut it for this game. (Barely any games do these days)

    You need a dedicated graphics card;

    Examples,

    Nvidea
    GTX 1050 TI
    GTX 970 TI
    GTX 1060 TI

Also there is a difference between video memory and RAM memory. They're two different entities. Go look it up.
