If you patched then continued your save from 1.1 that's why its like that, you need to start a new game.

Hinkel is a game dev and a dev on NaS 1.0, I doubt he has time to make a submod for L'Aigle.

I think Spanish Guirillas should be added in as a mercenary you can recruit in Taverns, with good accuracy but bad melee stats.

That is not a bug with the mod its a bug with Warband. I think I've seen that happen in Warband before anyway.

The town icons are fine as they are.

After you patched did you start a new game or continue with you old one?

Parrot, this is a just a little request Could you maybe change the British Foot Guards to the 82nd Prince of Wales Own Volunteers? If you will do this I can find some reference images, if you have time because I know you're very busy with Blood and Iron Or if someone knows a program I can use to try this myself please tell me, I'd really like to have a go at doing something like this.
