Can't you understand that after some patch this setting actually caused saved games to have the setting reversed? So even though I had this disabled previously now it's enabled...Because enabled and disabled are difficult words? My three year old uses "enabled" correctly in sentences.
So probably this is happening, because after that patch it reverted my setting? From off to on? Maybe there is a way to change this by modifying the save file in some way?Just an FYI they changed it, it used to be disable birth/death at the beginning, it is now enable birth/death, for some reason like background music played when window minimized they reversed the check box for some strange reason.
Well I did disable it, but after some patch they started to die in battle... And there is no option to turn it off again, or maybe I can edit the save game in some way to fix this issue? Can't you already disable deaths? It's in the options when you create a character.
Actually death during battles is the most problematic for me. As of old age it's fine either way for me.
What cheats do you mean exactly? And it would be pretty annoying to load the game each time a companion or important character dies and re-do the battle...There are a cheat that prevents your companion death. And there are the last saved game to. Be cool, my companions never dies, and I never lost a single battle.
Yep, most have defaulted after some breaking change update. It is possible the game defaulted to ENABLE DEATH because there were changes in the mechanics. If you start a new game there are more options for this (although the 100% no companion death is bugged currently).
I am not sure if it is possible to deactivate it again, check in your options.
