I don't think they HATE it I think they just don't really like it. I don't really like tennis but if I saw a tennis player in a mod I don't think I'd be outraged.
Well what I meant was something like the associates program for amazon.com. It's where you put links in your site that direct people to products on amazon or wherever and you get a percentage of the income if they buy the product through your site.
Me and a friend are really thinking about trying this out to make a little bit of money. Have any of you ever tried to do this as well? If so do you have any comments on it? I'm really interested in it but I'm not sure how it will most likely end up.
You could also just put him in as an easter egg... like have him standing on top of some building and you cant see him unless you really look. But I bet some people would point out how a football player is historically incorrect for the time period.
I can't imagine how the coaches and players on the team are feeling. I just hope that next season the team rallies together and wins it all for him, Not that winning is everything though, it would just be nice to see.
I looked at that Freespace thing as well (winter break and really...really bored) and I can't find the download for the actual game. Just the demo. Have I just lost my reading ability or is the full download somewhere else?
I know, I was refering to the original poster and was just saying that even if they weren't in that time period I'd still like to see them in the game.
I'm a Broncos fan (american football) and I'd like to say Rest in Peace to the 24 year old cornerback Darrent Williams who was shot to death in downtown denver early this morning after the Denver/San Francisco game. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-broncos-williamskilled&prov=ap&type=lgns
I agree, thats why I'd like to see some sort of basic formations rather than sticking to what is "historically accurate" despite the fact that the weapons and armor in the game don't come from just the early middle ages. Or atleast I think theres weapons in the game that are from the later periods.
You know, the game doesn't have to 100% historically accurate to early medieval europe. It's not even set in early medieval europe... or earth for that matter. I don't know about you guys but I kind of like the open-ness that the developers have to shape the time setting and the tactics used in it. I'm not a historian but I also doubt that people then didn't have any sort of tactics.
Yeah It's definately a problem with the download, its supposed to be 31 mb but its a little over 1 so I'm sure this skybox isn't the only thing missing.
