  1. Renaissance weapons pack

    Very, very nice! :)

Halberd: I'd advise you to scale down the head's size slightly.

I LOVE the flamberge and the landsknecht. Awesomeness.
  2. Picking up weapons

    I want.

    PLEASE.

Very cool idea, though I've run across it before. Maybe not arrows, as spent arrows would likely be broken and it's a bit hard to transfer a quiver in the heat of battle. But other weapons, definitely.
  3. Lips!

Smell dispenser: Ew. As said above, not so cool an idea.

But seriously, the ability to change the size and shape of the lips has nothing to do with how handsome a character is. It simply gives greater control; they can be uglier, or prettier, but DIFFERENT.

It's something I'd very much like to see.
  4. Lips!

This is a post about ... lips. You can edit everything on the face except for the corners of the mouth and the size and thickness of the lips. Why is this? Is there a modeling/retexturing issue? What? As it is, you can have a wide variety of faces, but without an ability to change the mouth...
  5. New Idea for Arena(s)

I like the idea of being able to choose the specifics of your fight. Very cool.
  6. what about hunting and fishing ??? :p

Certain meats could be rare delicacies, which you could sell for neat quantities of money. Obviously, these would be much harder to find and harder to kill.
  7. Old England?

what are you prats on about, youve taken a comment that was said tongue in cheek and tried to make me look a heartless fool

to varrent - Dont patronise me boy, also Everyone is racist in some way or other but i wont go into discussing that

Weltonia: Learn to type first, patronize later. I find it helps. 8)
  8. Boxing

Thank you, Armagan! I desperately wish to see this. Hopefully sooner than expected. :D
  9. Arena Contestants

This was mentioned a while back, and I'm completely and utterly for it. Not so much different combatants (which would, admittedly, be very very cool) but different competitions.
For instance, an archery tournament would be AWESOME. And a tourney would be very easy to impliment; both guys get a lance, stick them on horses at opposite ends of a jousting run. One kills the other and wins.
Some larger, more structured contests would be cool (defeat the river pirates, go on to fight the khergits in a different arena, etc, all the way up to dark knights). Different arena maps would be great, to add some tactics; maybe a wall you can defend, or that you have to take (climb the stairs, killing the footmen on them, reach the top and chop up the archers  )
Another thing that would be really cool, provided we can get a couple of melee attacks, would be an unarmed contest.
  10. Slings

Slings: Definitely. I wants it! They were not so much used for warfare by the middle ages but were used extensively by shepherds and so on still. They didn't fall out of use because they were ineffective (Cretan slingers could send a projectile farther and harder than a longbow -- almost certainly with a stave sling, though) but because they are incredibly difficult to learn to use properly, when compared with a bow.
Stave slings would be hard to implement, and I couldn't really see them working realistically in the game. All in all, not good.
  11. More Shield Functions

Yeah, it has been brought up many times! No one is searching apparently.

I kid. But seriously, giving shield carriers a shield-bash attack would be cool and I second the idea too if

If and only if shield protection from the front were not 100% as it is now. A shield-carrier would have a big advantage against archers and thrown weapon users if he could safely approach them completely protected by the smallest of round shields and then knock them down. There should be some small chance of an archer getting a hit on the legs or headshot in return. Why be realistic for one combatant while simultaneously ignoring it for the other guy?

Right now, the archer doesn't get bashed by the shield, true, but neither can that archer damage the man behind the tiniest of shields.

I'm with JohnathanStrange on this one.
  12. Yes im draggin this up AGAIN

If morale effects are added, which I hope and pray for, than it could be modded real easy.
  13. Keep The Town/Cities Menu Driven But Make Them Unique

Which would be bloody cool, by itself. I just want to see that in the game... a physics engine would be awesome, but as far as gameplay is concerned, I'd prefer battering rams, walls, and sieges ASAP.
  14. Map suggestion

    Precisely! Exactly! Yes!

But no, to the creation of individual maps. Lemme explain:
I like M&B, but I don't want to wait five more years for it. In other words, way too much work for the mods. But if places on the map could have some sort of value that determines the specifics of the random-gen map, then flatlands could randomly create a map that's generally flat, with a tree or two, and grassy. Mountains could be mountains, forests could be flat with lots and lots of trees, etc.

    I want.

I also would like to see some deserts, snowy places, seashores, etc.
  15. Idea for a more realistic damage model...

Heheh... I recently saw a picture of a 14th century breastplate from a full suit of plate, with a 5 inch hole in the middle from a crossbow bolt.
I like the idea: that would give an excellent reason for high level characters to use crossbows, as it would be garaunteed to pierce heavy armor.
  16. Combat wishlist

When you've got a shield and a sword ... the shield's there to block with. The sword's there to strike with. It is generally, but not always, more effective to simply block with the shield.
On the whole I don't agree with most of your points, Simetrical, but I love 8; a minimum range would be excellent, and I would absolutely love to see a shove or kick or punch within that range.
  17. Yes im draggin this up AGAIN

Yeah, exactly... but as far as I know, there's not a way to make the enemy AI want to reach the edge of the map and flee. Is there?
  18. Yes im draggin this up AGAIN

Sure it'd be moddable, but as it is, it would be dumb. I mean ... deer and the like should want to run away from you, not attack you.
Can you imagine bringing your wounded hunter character limping into Zendar? You walk up to the merchant, coughing and gasping, and pass him a packet of furs.
"What happened to you?" He asks.
"Oh, I was mauled by a squirrel."
  19. How are your frame-rates per second

I average about twenty. It gets up to fifty sometimes, or down to eight or nine other times. I only notice choppiness at below 12 or so fps.
  20. Loot and Horses . . . again . . .

How about this: Most, if not all, of the stuff the enemies were using, you get to keep. The exception is projectiles: only sometimes would the leftovers not be broken up too much.
But here's the catch: most of it's broken. Not only would it get a gigantic stat disadvantage, but it'd be worth a lot less. But you can take it to a smithy and get it fixed, for a fee.
That way, you get some broken black armor, bring it to the smith, get it fixed for 5000 denars or so, and still come out on top. That'd also address it not fitting.
I really would prefer if you always got the horse you were riding at the end of the battle, provided it was from an enemy.
