Nevermijnd. I just found the email! It was not titled very well, I shall have to rename it.
  2. recovering serial key from faulty hard drive

My hard drive crashed. I have a copy of testdisk and can recover files from the crashed disk. But I have lost my emailed serial key. And I don't know that I bought it from esellerrate (because I searched and found recovery processes on the boards here but it was for esellerate.com) So my...

Can anyone make list how it's work like there tell you story of background, and I'm very enjoy it, but however, I think I dont read them all, it's may be too late to read when I'm so busy level-up, make money for wage, ect.... so I dont know if long list or not, but it's nice to tell a story step by step each "rank" like you start nothing in new game, it's said you are a thief in town and steal townfolk while later 25 level, I working in village as office and loyal to lord or something like that, I like this but I like to see them all rather than test them out of game, I'm too busy force on game while I could forget to check them each level-up or money or I'm not sure how it's work, do you need to get 500 sroce every story changed or what?
I'm taking a wild guess here based on that first sentence. Is this what you're looking for? http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,36125.0.html
No, I was talked about background story in retirement, it's on your right bottom screen where you are wish to retirement for good or go back to game? What I asked if anyone knew all storybackground in retirement.

  4. Two weapon fightin? (dual wielding)

    Dual weapons, secondary attacks, etc.

When you scroll the middlewheel down to select the shield, it should be ready to deflect at all times without having to hold down the right mouse button. This would not only make it possible to attack with the right hand while still blocking (which is obviously a reality) but this would also leave open the right mouse button for secondary attacks, like throwing your weapon or thrusting with a suitable throwing weapon. You would be able to stab someone with a javelin, right? You would be able to cock the javiln back and hold up a shield at the same time right?

Further, if you were to apply this to dual weapon wielding, you could use the right mouse button for the right hand and left for the left hand. A simultaneous mouse click would facilitate blocking.

I realize that many people think dual weapons should not be implemented, but M&B has a huge modding community that would like to implement a samurai or spanish light armored firearmed mod. Also, when playing The Last Days I am very annoyed that I can't take one of those huge Rohirim throwing spears and couch it or thrust with it in a pinch.
  5. War party or Waiting Party?

I mentioned this problem back before 7.31 but I was having trouble getting my allied Hosts to engage even the smallest bands of scouts that were chasing my tiny party. I'd run like hell from the enemy scouts, then see a massive allied Host patrolling straight towards me. YAY I thought- hoping...
  6. TLD ARCHIVE 1: Suggestions and Ideas (2.2.1)

In response to complaints about not being able to solo the enemy archer lines without getting sniped: I don't think I would hestitate to snipe the enemies Capt/General/ranking commander on sight either.

I have not finished the books. Were there crossbows in Tolkiens setting? Where are they in TLD? I can buy bolts but no crossbows heh heh. What about great lances? This is one of the best weapons in vanilla, but is there an equivalent in TLD?

BTW I come from the realism beats balancing camp. If the game is as realistic as possible, it will balance itself out. Then again I feel that way about almost all games... I prefer simulations over arcade games, and don't like console games at all.

    Nice xDDD

    It was fun..

I think you must be playing .730. The ability to kill townspeople was fixed in .731.

    no it hasn't.
  8. Developer Implementation List

I am looking for the developers "to do list," or a list of tasks or features that will complete the game. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I can't find anything via search.
  9. Version 0.731 is out!

Ok so now I have seen the light. New developers. New version. Updated website. Armagan speaks... my fears have been laid to rest. This game may be going somewhere.

Sorry for the lack of faith Armagan, but I had serious doubts that you cared about the game as much as the donations. You have renewed my interest in this project. Lets hope it becomes a franchise some day. Let's hope you find the budget and the resources to program your wildest dreams.

Or whatever else makes you happy. And me too. And everyone else. Puppies make me happy. Put puppies in the game or give me my money back.
  10. Where is this game going?

This post may sound familiar to those who have read my first post. I love this game for many reasons. I think it has serious potential. I was impressed... I have doubts that it will be fully realized. I just don't see where this game is going. It was fun to play for a few weeks as a demo, but...
  11. Realism in suggestion threads

Armagan started this project to create a game that conveys the intesity of a sword fight. Or so I remember in one of his interviews. Apparently realism was on his mind. Lets hope that the game sticks with realism. I have other games for fantasy.
  12. Disarming and picking up weapons offa the battlefield

I've practiced Kendo. I've trained in close quarters combat both armed and unarmed with both traditional weapons and weapons of opportunity. If you are unarmed and someone is comming at you with a sword, rifle, polearm, etc- forget about it. Just run. Theres no way you will disarm this person without getting the fight to the ground. Maybe if they have only a knife or hatchet. Not a sword or anything larger. So unless unarmed tackling was implemented, disarming is almost a moot point in this game.

Survival in combat is about risk management. Nothing flashy about that.

It would be great to charge someone with my horse and watch their sword go sailing across the battlefield. Or a chance that they drop their sword during a parry.

My logic behind arrows replenishing is that you pick them up/pull them out after a fight. However, you would have a few that can not be recovered or repaired.
  13. AI

Here is an odd bit of AI:

I am running from a band of 12 Vaegir Deserters. There is a patrolling war party of 46 Vaegirs. I turn towards the war party. Deserters follow. I run past war party. Deserters follow past war party. War party keeps on partrolling.

HELLO?! War party? You in there? You a peace party? You considering desertion? Ha ha!

I have seen this happen many times. Only time I see one group engaging another is if they are off screen when I come upon them, and already battling/chasing eachother. Occasionally someone chasing me will run from a large party in the area, but I have not seen said large party even attempt to engage fleeing party.

Am I wrong or what? Only been playing about 30 hours worth.
  14. Highest Couched lance damage

    El Perdido said:
No, no flamebait. Sorry, I don't really know much about history. The only history I learn is through movies and video games. Sometimes I watch the Discovery channels or History channel, but I have never seen a program on lances. Well now I know that lances are also used in the battlefield, I won't have to embarrass myself for making such a comment again, thanks.

They used to lance plague sores.
  15. A few apologies

Ok so I get a little carried away sometimes making analogies about terrorists, crack heads, and illuminati. So for that I apologize. I didn't think people would focus on one of the three analogies and call me a bad example of americans. Who said I am american, anyway? Ever heard of joining the...
  16. Is the game supported?

OK WELL I HATE TO SAY THIS BUT I AM WORRIED... I JUST BOUGHT THE REGISTRATION KEY ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO STOP PLAYING M&B SINCE. EVEN THOUGH THE GAME IS INCOMPLETE, I THINK IT HAS CAPTURED THE INTENSITY OF ARMED MELEE COMBAT RATHER WELL. WHEN I GET LANCED AND TOSSED OR I...
