    This game is literally unplayable!!!

Iv had the game a week now and been trying to play but game is just so laggy and slow its awful. Lots of people have this issue so it must be something with their optimisation?

I have a decent gaming laptop and can play most new games with no issues, iv updated nvidia geforce driver and am playing the game on low settings... nothing i do seems to improve the game at all!

If anyone is able to get the game to run smoothly (or at least playable) please let me know! ???????????
Some laptops have an integrated Intel GPU, and an Nvidia GPU. Have you opened Nvidia Control Panel, gone into "Manage 3D Settings", searched for Bannerlord in the game list, and made sure it's set to use the high powered Nvidia GPU? If Bannerlord isn't in the list, you might have to add it.

Not sure if that will resolve your issue, but it's something to check.

Will there be scripted or randomized events on the campaign map? I.e., an additional faction invades after a specific amount of time has past, or a peasant has become a named bandit and begins pillaging the countryside, etc.

a mod for king of the north
I dont talk about game of thrones I bet we have one I talk about a mod about vikings or battles of carolus rex(Swedish Warrior king) basically a mod set in northern Europe.

also I have other ıdeas as well

china and far east(or warring states period japan)
    age of charlamange
Muslim Invasions of spain or Re-conquest
    american Indepence
    russian civil war

also I have a really good prehistoric mod idea but I will keep this hidden until time is rigth...
    (a diffrent kind of prehistory)

I like the idea of a prehistoric mod. Having warring tribes, wandering hunters and gatherers, roaming herds of woolly mammoths, sabertooth cats and other critters. Communities could be mud huts, caves, log, etc. Economy could be trading furs, primative mining/stonework, foods, etc. Weapons and armor could be made from hides, furs, stone, flint, wood, etc. Could have henges, various primitive religions...

Just kind of rattled that off somewhat incoherently,  but whatever.
pre historic mod is very cool Just like I said before but it is harder than it looks

if you want to do things rigth you need to research prehistoric times you will see the biggest challange is not culture or armor they can be fiction since no one knows about tribes and clothing(if there is any)
    or spacial wepons prehistoric times
I think harder part is making map historically correct there are info about prehistoric world

the whole world was only a SİNGLE CONTİNENT but it was very complex to historically represent all the first era continents like africa europe and asia in one landmess

True, coming up with the prehistoric cultures would be tricky. It'd be difficult to make them feel unique, while still beimg technologically plausible.

One thing I'm a little sad about

Not sure, I was watching some angry joe reviews, and those stick.  I know total war was fixed up sometime afterwards but the initial negative media can really stick.  I keep thinking back to that angry joe review.

If you are talking Total War Rome I can attest the game was a miserable pile of junk when released and they were VERY slow to fix major game-breaking bugs people were having. They shot themselves in the foot there.

Yeah, I couldn't really play Total War Rome 2 without it crashing for I think about 8-10 months after release. That said, the game played pretty well after it was all patched up.

Total War Empire,  on the other hand, I never could play without it crashing. Maybe I should load that up and see if that's still a thing.

As bloated as it was, my favorite Total War game was Total War Mediaeval. Shogun 2 was fun too.

Let's play "Mount & Blade 2 II Bannerlord"

I too like the idea of a let's play series, but don't think it needs to cover a full play through until a few weeks before release. Up until then, a weekly half hour feature focusing on the various game mechanics (character creation, trade, campaign map, combat training tutorials for various weapon types, battle command tutorials, diplomacy tutorials, features on each faction and their troop types, etc... would make me happy.

Features you DON'T want to see in Bannerlord

I agree with no microtransactions. Stamina and stumbling can be in there as long as they can be disabled.

    [Poll] Multiplayer Discussion Thread

Probably obvious, but 1v1 quick siege. Each person has an army, which can be customized with unlocks as the general ranks up (general can be customized too). It would need a matchmaking system to keep things relatively fair.

Also the anti-cheat others have mentioned.

    Merchandise

I'd be up for some merchandise. Would love to see a cloth map of Calradia, in that old medieval map style!

The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword. -Ned Stark

Maybe we'll see it in a mod.
Hopefully we will see it one day, indeed
Ned Stark was given that sentence too, sadly

That coward Joffery didn't have the stones to swing the sword. Probably couldn't even lift Ice...

    Some ideas

    Hey everyone,

I was playing M&B warband  and was thinking about the Floris mod where you can enlist in the army of a lord. I like that and, when i'm not busy with getting a strong base for my conquest of Calradia, I am busy with trying to survive as a Saranid footman
This got me thinking, I would really, really like it if there was and option to enlist in a lords army in Bannerlord. And to go a bit further, if you get to the top rank of the existing troop list in whatever class/type of soldier you chose, it would be really awesome if you can expand on that position.
For example, after certain amount of (survived) battles, and certain amount of experience/enemy troops disposed of  it would be awesome to get some kind of commanding role, in which you can train troops for your lord and gain command over the type of troops you are yourself. For example, if you are an archer, you can command archers to focus fire at a certain position in the enemy ranks, and as you gain experience, the commands can be expanded and or give you more archers to control.
After that position and some more disposing of enemy troops, you would be able to reach the rank of champion of the army. When champion, you'll be able to take command of the army while the lord stay's back. This can happen if the battle is a minor skirmish against some rebels, a battle against a significant smaller army, or against a lower enemy lord then your current lord. From this position you'll be rewarded a minor nobility rank, from which you can then move on to create your own army in service of the king of the faction your with and from there just like it is in M&B warband.

This would be, in my opinion, a great way to rise from the street urchin to the most powerful position possible and would give so much more variety to the game.

    What you you think?

Thanks for reading, and have a nice day.

I like the idea of being able to eventually gain a nobility role from proving yourself in battle for a lord over time. I also have little interest in playing multiplayer. I'm not saying it won't happen, but I'm looking forward to an immersive medieval single player experience. I have little interest in deathmatch type games. Although, conquer and control strategic points or capture the flag style multiplayer is enjoyable. I might do those if they are available.

    Dev Blog 03/08/17

I'd love to see a weekly screenshot feature! It could be part of the weekly blog, or a separate post to the media page. You could describe what's in the screenshot, detailing features, faction info, art, lore, formations, unit types, or anything really.
