Of course it is free for players to have his gameplay and decide the fate of pendor.

“What interesting is the character may never know his true background, but still finished his vengeance and pay back to his loyalty guards by fulfilling the prophesy.”

So I think that’s why SD didn’t share that core lore to open community, to make players enjoy the game more freely.

Exactly, which is why at the end the player can say for example:
"you know what, screw the gryphons, they died because they were weak so i'll just stick to what there is currently available."
Just as well as the player can say:
    "#MakeTheGryphonsGreatAgain"

I'm sorry for the overly abundant spam just to prove a point.

For the sake of RPG role-play, what hold with player cannot be The best  Or why we need player to save the world

We need the player to save the world because that makes for a very good game

Otherwise, in a realistic scenario, the conflict would eventually resolve itself. You know what, i take it back, even in warband if you don't do anything for long enough, one faction will overpower another eventually.

    3. Lore-wise knight of lion is the main enemy of player’s family.

player's family assuming you start with "A letter that changed your life". Otherwise they are completely cool. Lore can be different things for the player character in this case.

The letter just makes it clear.

The parents of player was always saved by Knights of Griffon, who betrayed by knights of lion and died out in the forest of Laria under the attack of knights of Lion, the history deleted/changed by Ulric is just about the event of this, I asked author and got this answer.

The background can be various, but the core is unchanged, player character is the last heir of Cavalas(the first king of pendor), the human with the blood of noldor, carry the task to unite pendor and noldor to destroy Azidahaka :fruity:

What interesting is the character may never know his true background, but still finished his vengeance and pay back by fulfill the prophesy.

Oh, i'm not questioning those things (being that they are actual victory conditions.) what i'm trying to imply with my response is that "the Lions don't necessarily have to be enemies of the player." mainly because not every start puts you on their wrong side.

While the core things are obviously set in stone (the noldor, the unique armies, the snake cult and whatnot) the fate of the knighthood orders is not, and what happens to these orders depends entirely on the player. Idk, maybe in my pendor canon, for example, i want the lions as the main pendorian order.

I would like to have a button to transfer all captured prisoners at once.
For example, holding CTRL+A and click "Capture" transfers all prisoners at once.
Maybe the same thing for rescued troops. CTRL+S transfers all troops to your party (ofc only until your group is full).

On a side note: Why is foraging gone? Is there a way to tweak it back into the game? Like exporting your character, editing the foraging value (or adding it if it has been completely removed) and importing the character again?

Foraging is not really "gone" because it wasn't in warband by default in the first place. Foraging from what i understand is a mod on itself, i think your confusion comes from playing mods such as Floris or mods based on Floris.

And the winner of "titan war", established the snake cult to help her destroy and eat the whole pendor world.
That's why pendor needs the friendship of noldor, elf with technology but lack population so they could not hold their own against snake cult either, the only way out is work together. Only with the help of elves pendor could have the ability to forge the army to beat the snake cult.

That's funny considering that "Noldor" and "weak" are two terms you don't regularly associate together.
In PoP it is like this, noldors were nothing in the eyes of Sindari, now it is time for noldor to revenge by vanishing the snake cult with human.
I know it is weird for who had read LotR :fruity:

Since you seem very knowledgeable on this, i've been wondering for some time, do you happen to know of a sort of dictionary to translate Noldor into english and vice versa? A long time ago i tried searching for one but could not find anything reliable. In case you're wondering, i am actually looking to turn some phrases into noldorian for a personal project.

    Hi guys, great mod!
I would love to see a mechanic where we could...(wait).... FINALLY DESTROY THE NOLDOR!
Talking seriously now, why can't we fullfill the prophesy in another manner?
Why can't we be the good guy and in another play, the bad guy?
    Thank you guys!

Because the Noldor simply cannot be destroyed, even if you successfully attack Elacrai the magic will push you out of the keep. Keep in mind that the Noldor have been in Pendor longer than anyone else and have always been at odds with everyone, they really have a knack at keeping themselves alive. The Noldor have pretty much seen it all that has happened in Pendor and have survived it.
Then i would love to see the world of Pendor in the time when the Elves dominated the continent!

That would be cool, although now that i think about it, i don't think the Noldor had time to expand that much to begin with, i'm pretty confident they pretty much have only occupied the forests while they sorted themselves out (Remember that king tells you that they had to leave their original homeland out of necessity.)

My guess is, by the time they could establish Elacrai and get their basics set, everyone else arrived and since then the Noldor have not had a break.

Got to start off by saying this is a great mod, made it to day 450ish, controlled half the map and had a great time doing it.

However during my queen ship I realised that when asking a lord who they support receiving the newest fief I have no option to convince them to support someone else, like in native.  When I ask them, they tell me who they support then I reply with the "enough politics" line. At the time I assumed I just had a glitched campaign but recently I created a new character (and with much cheating) became a new king and found that again I could not convince lords to support someone else.

I guess my question is, is this a bug or a feature, imo without it keeping the peace in a large realm is impossible (even with a bunch of goodie lords)

(also posted this in the steam comments and discussions on the mod page, so sorry if i'm asking the same person 3 different ways)

I think it's more of the fact that being a king has its consequences and people will have gripes about your choices no matter what, convincing people as a king to vote for a certain person sounds a bit off...

The option is available so during your vassalage you can gather support or relation based on your choices, but as a king you don't need to gather support because you own everything and you can distribute everything however you please. But if you were able to change opinion of your lords then it would be pretty easy to just call a feast, convince everyone and then distribute the property. As a vassal you can't be certain this method will work because you don't decide when feasts happen and by the time lords gather at your hold, the fief might've been distributed so there is an element of risk and planning.

@TheLordDSK I don't know what you are talking about.

I think he's talking about the issue in which "factions don't give up even if they have no fiefs anymore" which, if i remember correctly, it's should be fixed. I mean, i haven't seen it arise in 3.8.4, but i also haven't played extensively enough to see if it comes up or not.

I just encountered a strange bug with the fortress after completing the Grandmaster quest. This happened many months after receiving the Order Stronghold and upgrading several pieces of equipment. Anyhow, there is a chest(with 2 access points) inside the Stronghold where I stored stuff. After awhile I went back to the stronghold and upon entering castle interior, the scene changed from what it was originally to a copy of Savador Castle interior but the lower chest was replaced with barrels(unaccessible) and on the 2nd level there was a chest but it was unaccessible. So inventory lost, no big deal but confusing.  To add to the confusion, the exterior when walking around changed to 7 cross-keep exterior when you walk around the courtyard.

I did use the tweak to access the garrison so this could be the culprit although it seems strange this would happen 6 months gametime after I implemented it.

I cant speak for the storage mishap, but as for the stronghold, the game specifically tells you that the fort will be rebuilt in a period of 60 days, you probably thought it was just a red herring or a just lore and promptly forgot about it, but during the one message in which you are promoted to Grandmaster, the knight tells you that from that moment it would take 60 days to rebuild the fortress, and he was not kidding, after 60 days the fortress does in fact get rebuilt and the interior and exterior get overhauled.

As far as i know the stronghold should not have a dedicated place for storage, so if you did store items, you probably lost them for good.

Thanks a bunch my friend. I've been playing Pendor for years now, and wanted to try something new. I am going to wear the wolfbode armor set, and do a pure viking, fierdvaain run, and I wanted to keep the helmet on as much as possible.

That will do you for most instances except Notes and inside castles (towns and villages are fine though)

If you don't mind me suggesting it, you probably would be better off using the Fierdsvain Berserker Armor, with it you could potentially fit a helmet onto it easier than you would with Wolfbode (since Wolfbode kind of requires the whole set for it to work or else it looks, understandably, off.)

My Apologies if this has been asked already, but I'm wondering if there is a way to force helms to stay on in castles, interactions, the notes character screen etc. I am okay with using an editor to make it happen, but I haven't been able to locate the appropriate marker to modify thus far.

Thanks in advance for the help.

    A couple questions on this:
Are you talking about guards, regular troops, lords?

In castles, lords automatically equip their "casual" outfits, which don't have any helmets, the exception to this rule are your companions turned into vassals, which will wear their helmets even on formal events.

In character notes screen, the game will take off the helmets of npcs as well as yours for the purposes of display no matter what.

During interactions however, there is a variable that you can change for this, if you are using Morgh's Editor, you can select the desired specific helmet and enable the following flag: "Cover Head / Couchable". If the variable is marked, then the game will take off the NPCs helmets during interactions, but will still equip these during battle, if the flag is unchecked, then the helmet will cover the npc's head regardless of anything.

Personally, i use this variable to mark all of the ladies hats so that they don't wear those silly looking hats during feasts and whatnot.

Who are the order of the Wyvern? A user asked in the wikia for such after seeing that they actually have 2 shields with their names in, one giving it all away being called "Heater Shield - Order of the Wyvern". Sadly I havent really played PoP before this 3.7 release, so I dont know if they were once an order or not, im just willing to know to be able to reply to him.

    Thanks in advance!

The Order of the Wyvern, according the the dawns, was a regular KO housed somewhere in the Fierdsvain. By the time the dawns arrived to pendor the order was in it's "last legs" so to speak due to unknown circumstances. (maybe outlawed by Valdis?)

The dawns assimilated the wyverns into their cause and while the wyverns are still wyverns, they are wyverns under the service of the dawn, hence 'Dawn Wyvern".

On a side note, this particular thing is something that i actually liked so much that i ended up doing the same for my CKO in my own story, for instance my "Knights of Steel" annexed the "Knights of the Seahorse" and hence, they turned into the "Steel Seahorses".

This is probably the one and ONLY thing that i like about the dawns.

    EDIT:
Also yes, the Dawn Wyverns do sport the wyvern shield as proof of their extinct legacy.
