    you will never face the whole 1k+ elites force, maybe not even half of it, then the siege will move to inner city/castle battles which win themselves if you have companions properly geared/leveled

    in short no matter how many troops the castles have, you will only actually face 300/400 ish of them, letting your castles go and conquer them back is MUCH more cost/troop efficient than facing lord armies on the field or defending, while the whole lords army is busy with one of your towns you can conquer 2-3 of theirs

    i don't see the problem with alephs, personally i find golem parties MUCH more threatening unless you're running a "heroes cavalry and everybody else rangers" army

    normal should not exist as it's too much close to native difficulty wise and mommy is not that brutal as everyone makes it sound if you "cleared" (as becoming king and making calradia Player's Kingdom) native at least once

    once were overpowered to the point you could siege castles alone without being a barbarian, now they are... pointless? seriously, kills/time ratio running on the fields spewing arrows or bullets on horse is extremely higher than using dragoons or rocketeers weapon (always forget the name) even...

    either that or do a quest for village elders of villages when owned by undeads and recruit from there, skeleton knigths ftw

    it's best to use only 2 heroes as "skill dumps", one for INT skills and another one for CHA skills and keep them last in the troop list so they almost never join battles, all the others you can just max STR and AGI to use them as super soldiers

    no it is max skill level in party + 1 for every 2 points of that skill on the second highest level, all other heroes don't matter after that

    eg
    hero has 8 in looting, borcha 6 and everyone else 2, total is 8+(6/2)=11
    ymira ha 10 trading. hero 8 and everyone else 4, total is 10+(8/2)=14

    maximum value for party skills is 15 which requires at least 2 people with 10 skill level

    the only skill that stacks additively for each hero is training, 10 heroes with 10 in training is ok, 10 heroes with 10 in looting is not because it has the same effect as having only two of them

    prisoner management is marked as party skill but only yor own skill level actually matters

    cattle parties (when you buy them at villages) start patrolling the area and if you go up and select "drive onward" they disappear

    anyway this is a serius bug, when you siege a castle/town and select to drive the Aleph you will use it to defend it versus your own troops
