I think these are all good suggestions.
The sign on the road says "Roleplay Persistent World", yet i was extremely disappointed by the server!
Roleplay is a joke, played for the best part of 2 days, had about 5 conversations. Mostly about where is this and that and how i get this and that, what you call "Out of character". RP is barely existent. Just because 5 people talk in a tavern somewhere... dosent make the WHOLE server an RP one.
Im sorry, this is simply not an RP server if the majority dosent RP.
I do think all the suggestion will improve the quality of the server.
As for the persistent, yeah sure the world itself IS. But i dont find it motivating to work and get money at all, since i can lose it all when i log out. That is simply wrong, i dont mind losing all my gear and money if/when i die mind you. Just not when i log off...
My "hardcore" suggestion to improve this server will be;
1. Make equipment be persistent as well. People will be much less eager to go to random wars if they will lose their very expensive armors.
2. Make equipment VERY expensive!
3. Character development, make some more classes, not just the current ones, and upon death... you lose all the development.
4. Longer time to re-spawn... I do mean long! Something like 10-15m (or even hours, but i can feel the hate mail)! With admins cutting it down on "good rp" or if you were RDMed.
I think this will keep the RDM rif-raf community busy doing something else, rather then killing people.
Yet banditry will be high-risk-reward.
