1. Closed "Application faced a problem"

Summary: Hi! I decided to redownload the game after not having played it for a few years. I made a clean install and was originally able to start the game; I got to the main menu from the launcher but there were no options on the screen other than "options" and "exit game." I found that none of...
  2. Using Morgh's Editor

Completely removed the troops.txt, made a new game, played for about 15 minutes, and the game ran perfectly fine. Should I be concerned?

    Update:
    Completely deleted the module . . . and I'm still able to play it . . .  :???:

    Update:
I'm such an idiot. I forgotten I had subscribed to Perisno months ago and that it was downloaded and installed via the Steam Workshop. I just rediscovered it a few days ago, downloaded and installed it manually, but when I loaded up the module it was loading the Workshop version, not my manual version.

I was editing the MANUAL version but I saw playing the WORKSHOP version that had been installed for a few months.

I apologize for my silly error. I love this mod so far and I hate to cause trouble over such a stupid mistake on my end!

    Thank you very much!
  3. Using Morgh's Editor

Made a clean install. No edits or backups. This is that path that Morgh's shows C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules\Perisno 0.8\troops.txt

Edits still don't seem to work.

I copied troops.txt and put it on my desktop, made an edit in Morgh's then compared the two files and saw that some of the numbers were different. So troops.txt is being edited.

Selected Tolranian Recruit. Change the empty upgrade path to some random unit (Drachen Krieger)

Hit "Update Troop #34"

Hit "Save changes" hit "yes" to the backup prompt

Start Perisno. Make new game. Make random character. Get some Tol. Recruits. Nothing there to upgrade into besides footman.
Sounds good.

One of the things I was trying to do was change the upgrade path for the "Player's Mercenaries." As a test I made Tolranian Recruits upgrade into Hired Recruits. I changed the upgrade path in the editor, clicked the update troop button, saved changes, then made a new game. Teleported over and got some Tolranian Recruits yet none of them had the option into upgrade into Hired Recruits. I tested what I was doing with other troops and none of them worked either. I was successfully able to change the upgrade path of some recruits in Native so I know I'm doing it right. It's just in Perisno I'm having trouble.

I also changed the strength stat of the Tolranian Recruits to 50 and that didn't change either.

    Is that enough info?

Some of the changes may take effect right away, but others won't be apparent until you start a new game.  Do the latter for best results.

Right. Every time I have started a new game, but to no avail.
  7. Using Morgh's Editor

I'm trying to play around with upgrade paths/stats of units in the game, but every time I change something, update the troop, save changes, and create a new save game, none of my changes are apparent. When I close the game and reopen Morgh's, all of my changes are still there. Is this a problem...
