Summary: Was playing tonight and items kept disappearing from inventory. First noticed when I won a tournament and got a new helm... but when I checked my inventory after, no helm was there (Ocs Hall). I then cleared 8 bandit grps and a mtn bandit hideout, all of which gave me loot. However, I...
Summary:
Ditto for me - Vassal of Vlandia, fighting Aserai. Joined Derthert's army, got in a fight in the field - very evenly matched at about 810 vs 850. Won battle, overwhelmingly, I did not fall. At end of battle, the battle summary said Victory, but would not show renown, influence and morale increase. When I clicked 'done' went immediately to taken prisoner and my warband is dispersed, however I'm captured by an enemy band that immediately is defeated by the army I was part of (Note, I entered the battle as part of the army and commanded a Cavalry Unit).
How to Reproduce: I have reloaded from a save about 5 minutes prior and it played out exactly the same way - won, but was captured? Note this happened previously today in the same play session, but when I reloaded I left the army and did not fight the same battle. Summary: This is more a minor logic flaw, not a bug. In the help village with deserters quest, the notable complains they asked 'their mistress (lord name) for help but her men never get here in time'. But I'm the lord over the village. Its just a tiny issue - maybe have the dialogue change when...
This is actually on Single Player, but found this report in the multiplayer that was similar so I posted here to minimize the threads
Summary: I have a similar problem. Its worse on some grass maps for me - the green dust and scrubs + trees make it almost impossible to see half the battle.I first saw it in the Aserai desert area and it actually seemed realistic there, but why would there be green smoke in the forest? It kicks up from unit's feet. If it was hazy / foggy that would be an interesting tactical obstacle (like hiding in morning fog), but this is just weird.
How to Reproduce: Its not always ridiculously thick - not sure if it is related to time of day
Location/Settlement: Battlefields - seems worst in the one where you start with a river with rocky banks and the wooden bridge over it.

Summary: Same issue, but in multiple sieges. Ram breaks outer gate, soldiers enter gatehouse, but don't attack the inner gate. One time I hacked through myself, and my units followed me in. The 2nd time I left and went up ladders instead. On the 3rd time I attacked the gate again and about halfway through a bunch of soldiers came and helped - it appeared these were NOT the same as who were already in the gatehouse. How to Reproduce: Inconsistent - happens sometimes, not others, then sometimes other soldiers come after a couple minutes and help Quest/Settlement Name (if related): Multiple (at least 3 around Sargot) Version: beta e1.4.1 Installed community-made modifications: None Computer Specs:

Ditto! I am in Beta 1.4.1, too and joined the southern empire. It said we declared war on Vlandia, then a few days later on Aserai and like the next day the nobles asked for a vote on whether to declare war on the Khergit - I opened to vote against that crap, only to see EVERY NOBLE VOTED YES ON OPENING A 3RD FRONT!?! There's no town or village within 2 days ride of Sargot that has any soldiers.
Summary: During an attack on a castle's walls I noticed that one of the ladders was too tall - about as tall as the merlons, but there was no merlon so it just went into air. Note the ladder next to it was the right height. I checked the pair of ladders on the other side of the castle and same...
Summary: After 'inspecting' a companion party's troops, the game pulled up the pre-combat options, asking if I wanted to attack. Gave option to leave, though, so I did not have to fight my own companion troops. I immediately restarted dialogue with the companion party after I left to see if it...
The issue is the player to employee ratio. There are 33,000 messages out here on Warband, in 10,000 threads. How many TaleWorlds employees do we want devoted to reading through thousands of messages to figure out which are useful and different that may contain data the coders actually need to hunt the bug? How quickly do we want the bug fixed?
Also... you (and me and everyone else playing the game right now) bought the game early access. We knew there were going to be issues and we accepted that. I will say that there is a solid amount of content, PLUS the rate at which the developers are updating and patching, I think they are working hard and using the money we paid to expand content and add polish.
So far, I have found every bug I have experienced already noted in another thread. I've not had to go past the 2nd page of search results to find it either.
Ditto - the exact same thing happened to me. I had an entire army of 400 trying to kill the 6-7 left stuck in there.
I ran around to the other side and the doorways are still there, but the room is filled with wall. However, there is a small gap between the tower wall and the fill wall that is inside the tower, so you can go in and move to either side near the entrance, but not futher in. Jumping in the doorway I could see the enemy soldiers on the other side of the room. Note the upper room is fine.
I managed to kill the enemies by pushing to near the front of the massive pack of allied soldiers. I slashed away, though I never hit anyone. I pressed forward while moving side to side to try and worm my way between my allied troops. I guess I made enough space that some of the allied blows began hitting the enemies. About 2-3 minutes of this and the last enemy soliders were dead. I don't know for sure I helped allow them to actually hit, but the whole army had been pressing in for about 10 minutes as I ran all the way around the tower, above and below, trying to get in, and no one had died the entire time.
Hint: IF you are leading the seige, you can call your soldiers back and make room. However, at Omor, as a member of an army instead of the leader, I couldn't issue any commands. That leader command tactic worked on another town where 1-2 enemies got clipped into a building when they fell off the walls. Once the allies pulled back, archers managed to hit the stuck soldiers with arrows.
In my game Lucon, leader of Northern Empire joined Battania somehow.
At some point I've noticed that there is no Empire on the world map and decided to take the main quest to destroy the Empire (before that I stopped right after assembling the banner). I gave the banner to Aserai and immediatly left the faction. 3 quests popped up: to eliminate each Empire faction. I thought that they will complete themselves eventually and ignored them. 2 of them did, including Northern Empire, but the last failed at 10 years mark.
A lot of time passed and I decided to finally join somebody. Map was half Vlandia half Khuzait, but I bought through barter original Battania territory and joined them. Only after that I've noticed that in diplomacy screen there is only 1 of 3 Empire factions (I keep forgetting which one, but not Northern). In encyclopedia those factions have only their leaders.
More time passed and I saw Lucon running around with green banner. He's still a leader of Northern Empire, but he's also a vassal of Battania =)
After winning a siege, give the option to occupy / enter the settlement immediately. It's frustrating to win a seige, but immediately be set upon by enemy parties waiting around your siege camp - I just climbed over those city walls, why am I suddenly back outside them with my slow moving...
I noticed when chasing down the fleeing enemies some soldiers (I have only seen it with mounted units) are so busy celebrating they they don't actually swing as they chase down the stragglers, they just ride on by with their weapons over their heads, cheering. Are they taunting the enemy as they...
