haha hells yeah.  Chivalry's got nothing on mount and blade in my opinion, but theres no doubt that these communities cross over a little bit.  Couldnt hurt to drag some more people farther into ours. =P

Naaah man.  something that allows you to record the battle as a 3d scene.  so you can come back and look at it from different angles.

However, I remember there was a mod that improved that system, most of times you could one hit an enemy if you touched the right hitbox. It was hardcore, you also were so easy to kill. It had some more features that gave you feeling of a real fight, but I don't really remember them. I'll link it to you if I find it.

yikes.  my bad.  I havent been on the forums in just under a year.  forgive my and meh clusminess. 

Starwars conquest.  thats all i got for the first M&B

There are plenty of different mods.  Many have complete different feels and focus on different time periods.
(My personal favorites)

1) New Elgante :  This is an interesting mod adding different animations and sounds.  Its a complete overhaul, changing the map, the building structures, the factions (etc).

2) Roman invasion :  This one shouldnt need too much explaining.  It focuses on the Romans. . . Surprise!!!    It replaces the factions of Swadia with The Roman Empire, and replaces the Nords with the Gauls.  It adds new items as well.

3) If you're looking for a way to spice up the multiplayer, I would recommend you check out the Bear Force mod.  This is a multiplayer mod only that completely changes the multiplayer into an exciting starwars fps/tps experience.  The closest thing to battlefront in M&B.

I dont entirely understand your question, but,

1) You talk to the king and ask to be released from your vassalage.

2) If you arent a vassal than you shouldnt have anything to worry about.  You should just be able to go off and do your own thing.  No vassalage means no obligation to stay near/do the bidding of any particular faction.

I dont think that its going to be HUGE, but i know that its going nowhere but up from where it is.  I bumped into this franchise in a discount bookstore for 10 dollars in a dusty backroom, and the community has gotten much stronger since then.  (its not slowing down).

I feel that some exposure for the series will be good.  I have no doubt that it wont go mainstream.  It just isnt that kind of game.  It would be nice for a good list of servers to be full as opposed to having to compromise game-mode choice for an experience with more than one other player. 

I like to think of it as a chance for the modding community to be given a nice boost.  Not only will active members of the chivalry community (and other similar titles) be (hopefully) switching over to the M&B series, but this will add to the number of people who are, not only eager to play mods created, but hopefully will be willing to contribute to the community.

soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. . . Im gonna try to keep this thread alive.  this feature (whether it be a mod or not) would be a cinematic maker's dream come true.  i really hope that we can get this going again.

true. true.  You'd imagine after a certain point there would be enough forensics evidence (dna) to know if someone had had sex with her, and if shes been drugged and has bruises, thats enough evidence to know that it wasnt voluntary.

sounds harsh, but from what i understand punishments have been fairly similar in most parts of the world for most of history. . . rape is still punishable by death in china.
