Well 9700k is better with games that dont use more then 4 cores (most games dont) + they are highly overclockable. But if its correct this game will use as many cores as it can get its hands on, amd is better for this game.

Oh thought he also wanted to upgrade MB. Its a I7 though.

Depends on how many cores can be used by this game. Honestly just go for a 9700K and and overclock it.

Go for 3200MHZ ram. Usually they are 5-10 dollars more expansive then 3000.

6playthrough now and all i am doing now is going from one side of the map to make peace and then being declared war by the kingdoms on the other end and me going there for peace etc etc.... This is what my campain is like everytime now.

Ikr. But its so annoying that this keeps happening. On my 5th playthrough because the AI keeps snowballing. And its not a slow proces but a BOOM and they took nearly everything.....
I am really enjoying this game but in my honest opinion they should not have released it while the core is broken. I can forgive bugs and other issues without even being bothered but this is absolutely breaking the game.

This campain was at day 900+ and lost half my kingdom simply because my Lords wont stay and i cant ask for peace. :sadface:
All i was doing was defending one side and losing my kingdom on the other side.

You are very lucky. Just had to quit another campaign because for some reason i could not even ask for peace anymore. Me and everyone i know have the same issue.

I have 56 hours so far and i am thinking of letting this game rest for a while. On my 5th try now and again the AI is snowballing out of control.

Me losing clans with +100 relationships.
The AI is just way to aggressive and i cant be everywhere my self to defend. Attacking is also impossible because the AI caps1-3 cities while u are laying siege to one.

I really enjoy the game but the AI makes the campaign near impossible and i really put lots of ??? on why they realised the game while the campaign being near impossible to win.
