  1. Garrisons are Worse than Useless

Honestly, You are better off not joining anyone's kingdom and being a merchant. Literally the only thing that isn't completely retarded. Smithing is broken, parties are broken, towns are broken, kingdoms are broken, starting your own kingdom is broken, no one dies, cool fact though, at day 1101 peoples faces age and they go all grey haired, but sadly none of them freaking die of old age, and never declare peace for more than 15 seconds, and if at peace, suddenly find reason to declare war on 6 kingdoms at the same time. Forest bandits are broken, looters can now kill your elite horsemen in auto calculation battles - rocks are broken. Sieges are broken holy Jesus are they broken, wrapped shoes are broken, my wife is broken and her baby creation skills are broken, my companions are broken and captured,

I really just want to join the bandit faction, pretty sure they have their **** together, they've got scud missiles and sniper rifles and garrisons big enough to scare anyone off, They also don't have food issues, because I am always stealing their food.
  2. New Items from Beta e1.2.0

You will occasionally find positive affix modifiers but from what I've seen, it is very rare, the most common I've seen is "Tailored" giving what seems like 1+ body armour, Sadly, the loot seems a little buggy though, I've fought fights on the hardest difficulties I can find 400 v 800+ and win, and yet get loot worth no more than 2500 gold, which is pretty sad, on the bright side nearly 150 troops get upgrades, which is a plus if they survive.
  3. Which factions has the best type of units?

You get "noble" recruits such as vigla from powerful landlords in villages, the other is from legion of the betrayed a mercenary group, you can often find them as prisoners
  4. Noble Recruits/Notable's Influence (Edit: Confirmed)

Yes to the first 3, however I am not sure the likelyhood of higher ranks is tied to just prosperity. Usually when beginning the game, all recruits are usually just that, recruits, however after a few years in game, they begin to offer higher ranks more frequently, however typically the high ranked troops are not tied to highly prosperous villages or towns.

My own town is a fantastic example, as it only has a prosperity of 3.5k which is one of the lowest in my kingdom, yet due to my parties having increased my relations with the notables, I can recruit 4 to 6 troops from nearly all of them of ranks 1 to 5. I actually almost feel like there may be a time factor. If the recruits are not hired after a short while, they have a chance of beoming a higher rank. It would make sense since I am with the kurzait, but my towns are empire towns, and none of the recruits are hired because the other clans seem to only recruit from Kurzait villages, and any time I check for recruits, they are always rank 1, yet in all our empire villages the troops are often rank 2 3 and 4. Just my observation though
  5. Which factions has the best type of units?

Really depends the situation, I love having 200 cavalry as I can usually take on armies of 500 and win, but if my horse archers get stuck in a village battle, I have to force them to dismount otherwise I cant take on 200 infantry as they get swarmed. I also find my cavalry lancers get crushed charging especially the vlandian and aserai polearm dudes. If taking down a city, I try use either fian or palintine guards and the Sturgian infantry with their awesome shields in a shield wall. The defenders will ignore long range targets for closer targets allowing you to wipe out 100 archers before the battle even begins.
  6. Smithing bug?

Hey all, I am running 1.2 and no mods, when I suddenly ran into a strange issue with smithing, namely that, certain smithed items are way over valued. At 51 smithing I started making weapons that required difficulties far higher than my skill, to my surprise these were worth a lot and did not...
  7. Caravans should be safe income source or not?

The fact that to just equip myself with full imperial lemellar and some top weapons will easily run you 700k, I dont think having extra cash was something that needed fixing. On the bright side all 5 of my caravans instantly had some 400 troops desert and were all raided and destroyed within 5 minutes of loading up my save.

Good thing governer skills work and my city and 3 castles make me plenty of money to pay for the garrisons I put in them...... Oh shut the front door it looks like my city is out of food and all my villages raided AGAIN.

Well luckily we are a peaceful kingdom who... oh my god we are at war with all other kingdoms AGAIN. Just once, can we stop and hold a feast for the love of god!

Yeah the caravans are the problem here.
  8. Bannerlord A.I.

A.I for caravans definitely needs to be sorted out and there should be a proper way of diverting caravans or blockading towns.

I don't think you can starve out towns/castles yet can we?
You actually can starve out settlements, I noticed my cities food was directly tied to how much food was on sale in the trade in addition to what villages provide plus surrounding lands.

If you drop 100 fish into a town, the +food amount increases after a quick 5 seconds waiting in town, allowing prosperity to increase for a period, if you stop villagers and caravans the food will drop, forcing a lower garrison and prosperity, which is useful if you want to singlehandedly capture a city by forcing the garrison to less than 100. Sure, it would take a bunch of time, but its still an easy way to avoid massive troop loss when cities have 400+ troops.
  9. Snowballing?

In Warband, Kingdoms had a habit of banding together to stop any one empire gaining too much power, happened a lot with your own kingdom too, suddenly you'd have 3 empires declare war on you at once if you took several fiefs.. I'm up to my 3rd playthrough and at 1089 the map is now 90% red and 10% blue.
I think the problem might have a lot to do with the army system and defections. Often I've seen kingdoms siege 3 places at once, and the defenders can't do anything, then suddenly like dominoes lords look like they defect and what was 6 cities and 12 castles on the defenders side is only 2 cities and 1 castle after 10 days.
I watched the southern empire collapse in what felt like 5 minutes of gameplay when they controlled 1/4 the map. Its frustrating because it seems to happen just as I am ready to pick a side to fight for and my skills are sufficient to actually join a battle without begin the first to get knocked out.

Also just to add, It is impressive to see you guys working so hard on the fixes and such, keep up the good work devs, the games still great even with the bugs.
