I've been wondering, does anyone have the skinny on how models and animations have changed/improved in Bannerlord? I've been considering doing a bit of mod work, and it makes sense to start with the most time consuming process first, especially since there's no guarantee that anything I do in code will be portable to Bannerlord. For the most part, I'm interested to know:
- Approximate polycounts: Can we use more polys in bannerlord, or do the polycounts stay about the same?
- What new features are available on the texturing side of things? Any new map types (normal, metallic etc) to incorporate? About what sizes are we looking at?
- Can we add new skeletons and animation types now?
I'm aware there may not be a good answer yet, I'm mostly wondering if you guys know anything more than I do, or at least feel comfortable putting forth an educated guess.
