    I also think it's a very interesting mod, but unfortunately I couldn't play it with all those settlement names... They are either wrong or simply random, maybe it's a leftover from the vanilla Warband (don't know, never played unmodded M&B). So I decided to change it myself so I could enjoy this mod much better. I hope Yifeng won't mind.

    I know it's not ideal, some cities are in wrong locations, but it still gives much better experience than Yifeng's names. I also noticed "Bombay" should be "Mumbai" and some other settlements maybe could've been a bit better researched by me, but so far it's ok to me. I did not touch Chinese, Mongolian, Persian or Far-East cities (except Japanese) because I'm no specialist about that region and I trust Yifeng, as a Chinese, knows them better than me. If anyone has any suggestions about city or lord names (which are also wrong in many cases as far as I saw) - I can add them, just post it here. I don't have much time (and will) to do it myself.

    If you're interested, just paste these files in your mod's folder. Backup the original first and keep in mind that I'm not a professional modder.


    I noticed my changes were not visible until I deleted corresponding csv files from mod's languages/en folder. But I have no idea whether it's necessary or not, as I said - I'm not a "professional" modder. I also have no idea whether you have to start a new game or not to notice the changes. Just experiment, like I did :wink:

    Maybe, if I find time and will, I'll try to add new cities. Any helpful research/suggestions would be welcome.

    Just an update to anyone still playing Warband and this mod. The moddb page has updated to 1.8.2 with a bunch of fixed and changes so you might want to check it out. I'm still playing this since my potato can't quite run Bannerlord without stuttering (probably because EA title) but can run warband+this mod with a custom battle size of ~800-1000 no problem. This is still also the only mod I have used that has a very good custom troop tree editor built into the game.

    1. Banking System

    - players have line of credit that is directly linked to honour (higher honour means more money)

    - players' savings will increase in value over time as there are interests

    - once players found their own factions, it is possible for them to customize the factions' units

    - to access this feature, players need to go to the camp panel, in which they can change the attribute and name of the unit by clicking on the unit, and modify the equipments of the units by clicking on the picture of the unit

    - player customized units generally are better, but they cost more

    - players will be able to recruit their customized units several days after their creation

    - lords of players' factions will also enlist these well trained and equipped soldiers


    3. The "O" Key of Party Management

    - players can use the key "O" to access a panel in which they can quickly check the status of their party, character, and NPC; players can also change the equipment of the NPCs in this panel



    4. Titles of Nobility

    - players can now become nobles (there are 5 rankings)


    5. New Recruitment System

    - players will need to improve their relationships with cities and castles in order to unlock different grades of units (cities: relationship 5+ unlocks first grade,10+ unlock second grade/ castles: relationship 10+ unlock third grade)


    6. New Trading System

    - players can now purchase special goods in certain cities that will bring enormous profit when sold in distant lands; players can also find peasants in the taverns who are willing to exchange special goods with the players' goods

    8. Fog of War

    - Players can only see settlements they have already visited, so start exploring! (can be enabled/disabled in camp panel)


    9. Freelancer Incorporated

    - Players can offer their swords to lords now as an average soldier (there are bugs as it is not perfectly merged with the game yet)


    10. Special Locations

    - There are special places on the campaign map in which players will be alone fighting some enemies to acquire certain equipments

    - Diaoyu Island/ Villa of Spain/ Beached Galley of Bermuda/ Ruins of Mali/ Pyramids of Egypt/ Hu Guang Government Council of Ming/ Tavern of Antioch/ Castle of Cossack/ Ancient Arena


    11. Injuries and Treatments

    - Hunger: players' strength and agility will be lowered without food, however, the effects are reversible as sufficient food will restore the players' attributes into their original value

    - Injuries: players have chances to become injured in different areas of body (head, hand, feet), lowering corresponding attributes

    - Treatments: players need to seek doctors in taverns in order to be fully healed of the injury; doctors can also heal NPCs and soldiers


    12. Fast NPC Search

    - Players now can ask the tavern keepers for NPCs' locations or pay the tavern keepers to find and bring the NPC for them.


    13. Steward

    - Players now will have a steward in their castle and through him players can adjust tax rate, change the name of the castle, etc.; in cities the mayor=steward, in villages elder=steward)


    14. Miscellaneous

    - Patrols: now every city, castle, village will have its own patrol(remove in new version)

    - Enlisting Captured Lord: now lords in prison can be talked into joining players' factions (or you can be nice and release them)

    - New Custom Battle Scene: players can now fight as one of the characters created based on the 16th Century mod creators in a carefully crafted Great Wall Scene

    Something I'd like to see back myself. 1.2 I believe was the last that used the bigger maps. You had ~30 seconds of prep time to position troops, now it's almost the same as vanilla maps.

    I had a question about recruiting troops from cities and castles.  I always get the message that they do not trust me.  I thought this would stop after I became a Lord, but even now after I joined Spain as a full fledged subject they still don't trust me.  How can I get these guys?  What do I do to earn their trust?

    At least the 1.6 version I have, isn't entirely finished. Incas are named wrong (probably easy enough to fix, its just a faction name change) and some things are still in testing mode. But, guess its an in development mod (though with that said, it has a TON of stuff and is pretty advanced).

    My first fort battle was pretty epic. I decided to get all the other lords and attack that spanish fort on aztec's shores. Spanish can't really defend it (all their lords are mostly in europe)...so actually "easy pickings"

    Huge thick line of Spanish musketeers on the wall, and my waves of Aztecs swarming toward them. Playing at 500 battle size. Aztecs dying all around, I stay back so I can just watch whats going on (me being morale support :razz:)...aztecs reach the ladders...being decimated on the way up.

    But, finally the first Aztecs reach the top of the walls. Spanish front line gets decimated. Not good close fighters I guess or Aztecs are just better. I then follow up, but even though we heavily outnumber the Spanish and breached the wall...its still a blood bath of hundreds of Aztecs dying.

    45-50 minutes into the battle, many dead, many wounded...we finally take their fort. But that was epic, like a movie battle. So many died from their guns.

    So, now whats left is Mayans (but they are easy pickings), Incas and the natives of north america. Plus some islands with spanish on them.

    Fix the bug of player's kingdom.
    The village you build can't be given to lords untill your castle established.And if you lose your village,you can buy it back by talk to the village elder.

    The 12 big city must have banks.such as Lodon,Paris or other famous city.
    Fix the bug of new faces.

    Remove animation of the shield attack.
    Add some particIe system,such as gunfire smoke and water bloom(arrows attack the water).
    Remove the function of change Lord title.
    You will not get experience anymore when you leave the Lord's party.
    Add the number of mercenaries,and pay much less.

I killed 2 lords and sack some villages..so I lost honour..is it about my honour rating ??..I think after 60 days in game my party will be 30 men or les :grin: I ll be a mercenary freelancer agaiin :smile:

    party limit is connect with honour and renown,and high level troops need more pool(cavalry has 2,too)
    for example,you can only have 100 militia or 50 knights

    I will update this mod before 19th,Feb (the Chinese new year)

    There are a lot of bug fixer in this update,but the translation may still not good.

    But,maybe I will still let some friends down,because I am not good as Python.However,I will try my best
