  1. Perisno Q&A + FAQ

    1. I wanted to start my kingdom by getting Linthradil to leave Elintor with me, but even with 100 relation, max possible right to rule (as far as I can tell), as well as high renown and honor, she was saying no. I decided to save to a separate file so I could experiment with letting her be the ruler. After I did so I was her vassal and marshal, but when I spoke to her I had the option to ask to be her vassal. I did this again to experiment, and after she gave me the normal vassal speech she said something about me now being her vassal as well as her husband. To my surprise, after this it gave me a notification that my faction does not exist, and when I clicked past that everything was the same but I was now the ruler of the Kingdom of Perisno. I assume this chain of events is unintentional, and wanted to ask if anybody knows the repercussions of starting the kingdom this way. So far the only difference I've seen is that when I take new vassals, the first time I talk to them they congratulate me on joining Linthradil as a vassal even though I'm the king. The other thing is I can't find the option to rename my kingdom in the camp menu. I understand this may be a unique issue, but figured I'd ask and at the very least alert the devs to a potential bug.

    2. I'm sure this has been asked to death so I apologize in advance, but I couldn't find it in the last few pages of the Q+A or in any of the recent and pinned topics on the forum so I'll ask anyway. Is there a plan to make this mod for bannerlord. I'll take this chance to praise the mod and say I hope it is. I've played most of the popular mods for this game but perisno is my favorite. The unique lore, polish, fantasy setting, and awesome original game mechanics just tick all the boxes for me.

    3. Is Michadr still working on this mod? Like others I play warband in spurts and I think this is the first time I've come back to the game, this mod, and this forum without seeing a sign of him.

    4. Is the apprentice developer program still in place? I've only taken two fairly entry level coding classes (no longer taking any because I decided to be a political science major instead of computer science) so I'm definitely a beginner, but I performed well and learned fast in both of them. I wouldn't be able to do anything for the next month or so but if the program still exists I'd love to try. I've always wanted to help make a warband mod and I could also potentially try out to help with the lore and writing if it's needed. Only aspect I really would be useless is in anything relating to art because I have no sense for that stuff.

Sorry for the long questions, thanks again for the amazing mod!

Hello guys, im having some trouble to raise relations with villages because the elder never gives quests since they don't need anything at the moment. I had one exception when he asked for cattle but that was it. I did a fresh module install to the latest version 2 days ago and in my current campaign i still can't get village quests. (not sure if it is related to the prosperity of the villages, as all of them are wealthy)

In my experience with any quests, whether from village elders or lords, you have to repeatedly ask for them to give you one. Don't just ask once and then leave. If you reject a quest from them, then they won't have anything. Otherwise they will have one most of the time just recheck about 10 times. I don't know why but that works for me.

Can I attack the Zann parties like the scouts and the lords to make the Zann invasion weaker? Or if I be friendly with them (helping them with battles) would they be friendly with me when the invasion begins?

As to making the Zann invasion weaker, I don't believe you can do that. The special parties such as the Horde of Jin and Onishi are part of a special quest to take down the Zann after they invade, but I believe the invasion itself is inevitable. If you are not part of a faction when they invade, I am not aware as to whether they will be against you. I do know that if you are in a faction and the Zann attack, if you later leave the faction after the invasion starts you will no longer be on the bad side of the Zann.

If you're wondering about the Zann quest, talk to a traveler in a tavern. He will tell you to talk to Shi Jin because he might be the only one who knows how to stop the Zann, and Shi Jin will tell you how to do that.

I also have a question.  I noticed sometimes that I get buffs to skills like foraging and pathfinding and have no idea why (skills are green for a time then go away).  What causes this?

Also it seems certain troops will give buffs to your party.  Is there a list of which troops give which buffs somewhere?  Is there a way in the game to tell?

I believe those buffs are from the very troops that you talked about later in your comment. I could be wrong but I think that they give their buffs directly to you, and they add onto your existing skills. Here is the list of these specialist soldiers

  3. Perisno Q&A + FAQ

Sooooo is there nothing I can do to finish the Illica Falki line if Gunnar just isn't there? No file I can change to make it completed? Don't mean to spam just wanted to make sure this one last time.
  4. Currently working on...

I  haven't posted here for like half a year since I took a break from warband in general so I doubt anybody remembers me. But I just wanted to say that I am very excited. Thanks for all as usual guspav!
  5. Perisno Q&A + FAQ

If nobody knows how to fix the Gunnar glitch is there any way I can cheat to complete that part. I'll penalize myself to compensate if need be I just really love the Illica Falki and want to get them as troops.
  6. Perisno Q&A + FAQ

Is it possible to screw up the Gunnar part of the Illica Falki Nodah thing, because Gunnar isn't spawning and I think it may be because I took it a while back when I wasn't planning on doing it yet. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
  7. Perisno Q&A + FAQ

Do you also get much less money than it says you would get per acre?
  8. Perisno Q&A + FAQ

How do you guys buy your land in towns? I have 3 acres in one town and 5 in another but I seem to only be getting one acre's worth of profit every week.

Also uncultivated land should only be bought when normal land runs out right? And do you guys first stack a bunch of land in one town until you max it out or do you spread the acres out?

So much for no more questions
  9. Perisno Q&A + FAQ

Thanks a ton to both you guys who helped me!

That really helped a lot, although my dreams did get crushed a little bit when I realized that marrying Princess Birgit and then stealing her dragon and her town and riding against the Reich wasn't viable lol.
  10. Perisno Q&A + FAQ

I feel a bit bad for asking so many things at once, so no pressure or anything but heres a bunch more things I was wondering on because I just started to play this mod after taking a break from it and all of M&B a few months ago.

    1. Is marrying either Princess Birget or Princess Linthradil to eventually get them to rebel with you a good way to start your own kingdom, as you start out with a vassal and a nice big fief?

    2. I was playing a sort of speed run with a faction where I constantly reloaded when something went wrong to try to get a bit farther into the mod to see what it was like, and the only way I could compete with other vassals and big armies with insanely good troops was by having my companions and their trainer skills level up my guys to high tiers (also by mooching off the garrison of my wife Princess Linthradil). How do you guys handle that loss of the trainer skill when you make your best companions into vassals?

    3. I'm not very good at M&B, but I'm determined to start my next playthrough on Perisno as a completely fair run. In my last "speed run" the way I made money, a ton of it, was by often stationing my troops in my wife's (Princess Linthradil's) town, and I didn't have to pay for them at all. I could also mooch off the constantly refilling prisoners she was getting and sell them. I was wondering how you guys get money if you don't do something like this as it does seem fairly...well...unfair.

    4. Another thing on whether something is unfair or not, do you guys use the auto upgrade and let your companions choose from the item pool thing? Because I believe each companion has an extra set of their armor or something in their inventory and when you do that it basically dupes the item. Do you guys manually choose which armor they get to be more fair, also because I'm sure I'm not the only one that hates seeing Alindel wearing an Ankar ranger women's armor piece because it had better stats than his armor.

    5. Also on companions, how do you choose which ones will do what? In my first run I had like 3 different companions with very high pathfinding, and 2 of those ended up being useless. This was the case with almost all of the party skills and I wanted to ask how you guys decided on this.

    6. When you're trying to get fiefs in a faction, do you guys skip out on the castles and villages so that you can later get towns and they won't say you've been "well awared with fiefs according to your accomplishments"?

    7. This is a big thing for me, everytime I've ever started my own faction in any M&B mod it is just so difficult and stressful. Managing the constant attacks and the really elite troops you'll inevitably lose even after you spent so long to get them and they're semi-irreplaceable. Not to mention trying to get more vassals that are seemingly always getting more and more unhappy and dying because they start off small and you are surrounded by enemies. How do you go about starting your own faction?

    8. Lastly, as you level up how do you distribute your stats. As I've always been a big fan of intelligence but now I'm starting to realize it's the least important as you need charisma for army size, strength for fighting, and agility if I'm ever going to get that aegis shield or, more importantly, the wyvern.

Like I said that's a lot of things, but that's been building up since I first started playing Perisno and M&B in general. If somebody does get down to the challenge of answering all of this, much appreciated
  11. Perisno Q&A + FAQ

Is there any way to get Princess Linthradil to rebel against queen Arwen? I have 1200 renown and 95 relation with her but it just won't work. I can get her to rebel in the case that she is the leader of the faction, but I was wondering if it was possible to do it in a way where I am the leader of the faction.
  12. Perisno Q&A + FAQ

Oh ok, I thought it was a problem because my hired knight spawned with only a two handed sword that couldn't be used on a horse lol.

Thanks for the help and the quick response!
  13. Perisno Q&A + FAQ

Hey I had a question about the mercenary guild "hired" troops. It's one of my favorite features but I'm having a problem with them I didn't notice before. When I give them their weapons and then exit out of the menu they unequip a bunch of the stuff, usually only keeping one weapon.

I just got on these forums and just started playing so I apologize if this has been asked before.
  14. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Hi, I just maxed out my first colony and it now has all the buildings it needs, 200 people, and 700% efficiency. The only problem is that I still need to bring it food, which is just annoying because inventory space is always a problem for me and it becomes even more of a problem with that food for the colony inside.

If I build more wheat farms, will it give my colony more food by itself every week, or is it like the tradegood producer where only 1 can be used because it is a special building? If somebody can help me I would appreciate it
  15. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Thanks so much for the help! This mod is great, I'm becoming a merchant lord that's gaining prestige through being in guilds and gaining money through enterprises. I've joined Zendar and now with this info I can make New Zendar the best colony in the New World!
