@ Nash: Stunk is a word, yes, but it is used in a different manner than you had there. I don't know what it's called, but here are examples:
I stink.
Yesterday, she stank.
The cat has stunk before.
I believe it's called imperfect past, meaning there isn't a certain point in the past it happened, versus perfect past, where it was one happening (i.e., the dog barked, vs. the dog was barking). I may have them backwards, but that's what they're called.
