Things that feel incomplete:
1) Troop tree. Am I theo nly one who feels that the troop trees need to be fleshed out more? The Vaegirs and Swadians still have the best-developed troop trees.
//Nope, the Nords do no the Khergits cue endless debate

Troop trees are fine.
2) The journal. It's almost useless. It's so confsuing and unpolished that it feels liek a huge pain to use. Why not include some flavor text for the various journal entries? It'd give be a lot more incentive to use the journal if it was actually interesting to use.
//Write your own journal

Lot's of people do hehe. It's a game log in a way.
3) Tutorial. The tutorial is good for basic combat, but it doesn't tell you how to do a lot of other stuff. If I was a enwbie, I'd have no idea how to herd the cows, for example.
//Part of the game is learning it by losing.
4) Sieges. One ladder? Seriously? Also, how do I know when the enemy will satrve out? Currently, an extended siege is impractical because you need a huge food and money reserve to stay at the siege. Since you don't knwo how long it wil ltake, it's also hard to judge whether you should stay and hope for the best or to just cut your losses.
//I had my doubts when the FAQ's answer was "it's been fixed" maybe if you're running the siege with 20 people haha.
