As for me i'm jack of all trades, lvling a bit everything, so regardles of character i have at least 4 pts in riding, 5 in atheletic, for profs i go for 200 in throw and xbow, 300+ in others, with such build i can win everywhere, unless im ganged while being on foot and except facing hero adventurer while wielding 2hander, even with 300+ im too slow to counterattack and just die.
Of course i have 1/4 damage setting, i'm not some kind of masochist

I appreciate that you dont use your own equipment when in the tournament but it will just use your encumbrance and armour values surely when working out the hit damage? I am sure that I saw that somewhere and if that is the case then reducing the weight that you carry can only help make you move faster and as the weapons are unused they are therefore the best thing to reduce.

the athletics skill is the stat that seems to help me the most in the tournaments also if your playing a knight character I am guessing you will have very heavy armour and weapons, before you enter the tournament remove all the weapons from your character and also look at buying some light armour with high stats.  This will make you move a lot faster as you will not be encumbered and as such you can move around the back of any attacking group as others have said and smack them about. 

I also agree with the advice to pick up other weapons.

Good luck with your future efforts though

Against the Dshar pick your targets wisely and make sure that you have some elite knights of whatever in your army with some guys with big ass shields....  Blademasters and assassins are very nasty though

Just seen this mod, looks like should be fun and a pretty good laugh, will try to get on for some mp at some point...

not much I can really say after that, but good news for pop 4.0

Hey NicotiN some of your questions are answered by the faq's such as 1. 3.

As for 2, not sure why they dont follow you into a battle for a castle, are they close enough to the action and have stopped moving? When other lords attack you if your lords dont fancy the odds against you then they wont join in. 

4. sometime one faction will gain ascendancy over others - again check the faq's
5. the weekly income is increased by the additional improvements built into the village rather than anything else afaik.
6. not a clue mate but maybe they get convinced to join another faction just like you can persuade someone to help you.
