Updating my drivers worked for 1 day then started crashing again now day 3 changing language to German has been working go figure hope devs do something soon.

Note: am also using non steam version now too

Welp thought I would describe how I finally fixed my crashing problem hope it helps someone out.

My crashes were happening when starting a new sp game right after killing the first attacker, anyone dieing when playing a saved game, and as soon as I joined a multi player game. I have been playing warband since it was released and crashes started a day or 2 after the patch was out.

I tried deleting the file in documents, single threading, dx7 and 9, cheats enabled or not, was using steam version so I tried downloading and running non steam version ,tried verifying files and check video driver with steam it said everthing OK,  think that was all the suggestions, maybe not, nothing worked, might have forgotten a few but checked all crashing threads so...

I have ATI (sorry nvidia but maybe this will help u too if u install your newest version driver) the last file I installed for ATI was 10-7_vista64_win7_64_dd_ccc_eny the new driver catalyst file I installed was 11-6_vista64_win7_64_dd_ccc_ocl 

I also deleted again the rgl_config file and emptied the recycle bin. I have single threading selected, dx9 checked, enable cheats unselected, and am now using the non steam version (1 less program running and don't care bout achievements) steam version might be working but prolly won't use it again anyway.

Go to Steam game tab and right click M&B Warbands and select properties.

Select the updates tab.

Select DO NOT automatically update this game.
