I'd say that the sheer force of a twohanded blow against the head is going to at least daze you quite a bit.


But in defense of armour...
I assume Two-handed swords (used in a classic fantasy-style, also M&B-style) were not particularly effective against plate armour. At least fencing manuals for using the longsword (from the 13-16th century) describe specific techniques on how to deal with armoured opponents.  One is seizing the blade with one hand, to get more precision for stabbing and slashing at the joints (http://www.thearma.org/pdf/th11.jpg).
Another is to simply turn the sword around to use the handguard as a pickaxe, to focus as much force as possible on one small spot (http://www.thearma.org/pdf/th10.jpg).

The fact that troops can rout in Warband makes "Player dies = Morale loss" far more preferable than the battle just ending.

Takes ages to connect for me, and always end up in an "Incorrect serial number".  Worked fine yesterday (Apart from not seeing more than 3-4 servers..)

Can't access taleworlds.com either.. so I guess its a server down.

I tend to get a few servers showing up when I click "join game" (2-3.. out of usually around 130-140).. If I click refresh or search they dissappear though.

If you get a few servers, at least add them to your favorites..favorites seem to show up always.. so I've managed to scrounge up some 6-7 different servers to play on.

Yeah.. its mighty annoying, that its slow that is.  They've been on their way to that island for like... half a year or something in RL-terms.  Meh :/

I -INSIST- on this mod incorporating the game-crash-bug if you defeat a knight who already has the moonstone!

It has to be true to Moonstone!

Hmm, now that I think of it I've been trying to come up with something reasonably unambitious to practice modding with.. this idea might just be it!

It's called a "Cease-and-desist" and they can and will sue your ass for everything you own if you ignore it.

Blizzard are some what notorious for shutting down mods based on their intellectual property, let alone actual assets from their games.
