Tried all the sound.txt files and reinstalling the mod.  Still get the weird sounds. 

Sea Raiders also sound like noblemen in the intro battle screen saying 'Stop this you churl' etc.

Is my sound file broken somehow?

I'm getting a runtime error that crashes to desktop every-time I try to start a new game.  The game never progresses beyond 'Loading Map Settings'.  Running the Native module under the same installation works perfectly though.

I've looked through the FAQ but can't seem to find anyone else getting this problem. 

For some reason I am able to get this going...but none of the Diplomacy loading screens show up...it looks just like native but plays with some (most/all?) of the diplomacy mod features I can easily test.

Is this normal for everyone or did I mess up?  Is there a good way to test whether the install is correct?

Good combo in theory but there are serious balance and crash problems. I tried out the latest patch and it crashed 3 times until I gave MnB admin rights and used compatibility mod for xp sp3.

The overpowered nodachi and imperial bow completely ruin the game. You migt as well put in a machine gun and lightsaber. The imperial bow does 90+ damage and holds 700+ arrows while the nodachi does 60+ damage...completely broken. Please bring these down to balanced levels and you'll have the start to a good mod.

Agree, I looted a Vaegir caravan today and got practically nothing for having killed 40 guys to get the loot.

I really like this idea.  It really irritates me to lose my Huscarls after winning a battle against overwhelming odds.

Did anyone get the prisoner price modification to work?  If so, could you post or email me your script file?  I did exactly what the post said and it's not working for me...

Sorry, just edited my post.  I didn't have the right patch. I just downloaded the game from Direct2Drive on Saturday and they haven't updated their download yet...

I tried to install the mod but keep getting a crash upon starting the game:

RGL Error: CommonRes\ani_walk_sideways.brf

Tried on a clean install and still get this crash.

Is there a fix or something I missed?

NM, I fixed it, apparently the latest Direct2Drive download of Mount and Blade is 1 not 11 and that was why the mod wasn't working. Downloading the patch fixed things.
