    Comedic/outlandish posts aside, I complete agree that there should be a female character creation in the game. Some of the best multiplayer players I saw in the last game were female toons, and I hate the idea that those players might not come back because they basically got slapped in the face. :sad: If I would have known about a large portion of the playerbase being alienated in this new game, I wouldn't bought/supported it and just stayed with Warband, since that is basically what I have to keep playing anyhow since my girlfriend can't make a toon in this game. :razz:

    Question: Custom Battle mods?

    Custom battle for me is a great time waster when I only have a few minutes to play. That being said, I would love to see any sort of expansion of that system. Currently the battles are small and the maps are limited. Are there any mods out there that build upon this system that anyone is aware of?

    Heya! I am running a fresh install of M&B Warband- version 1.134. I installed Floris Extended first and then Diplomacy on top of that. Those are the only two mods I installed.

    The error I am getting comes up when it is on the loading screen and gets to textures. It says that it cannot find "bo_bushes07_a" and then the game crashes out. Any ideas?

    Is it possible to use multiplayer maps in the custom battles? I'm not a big fan of the 3 battle maps that are given and would absolutely love to have a couple more in there, but I didn't see any maps available for custom battles in the mod section. That got me wondering if I could just use maps...

    Er... I thought did. I mean, at first I did. I kinda veered off towards the end there but I thought the first 2 paragraphs pretty much covered all my thoughts on graphics. >_>

    If I could remake this game from the ground up with infinite resources, the best graphics I could possibly hope for and all that jazz... Firstly- I wouldn't change the graphics at all. Honest to God I wouldn't. I see people complain about 2 things on this game all the time and I disagree with...

    That's a link to a troop editor program. I haven't used it in a while so I don't know if it works for the latest version, but it's definitely the easiest way to edit troops.txt.

    Heh thats actually why I was asking. I wasn't sure if someone had made a troop editing prog yet and was gonna throw one together. But it appears I am too late... and a google search shows I'm too late by several times over. =D Ah well, appreciate the response hehe

    Is there something on these forums that covers what troops.txt has in it? Some of it makes sense but I'd love to know what variables the multiple numbers for each troop represents. Plenty of people mess with this so I'm hoping there is maybe some sort of modder resource that explains it? Or did...

    Anyone know how to fix C++ error?

    I painstakingly removed PL from the mod folder (yea that took a while...) and tried running everything again just to see what would happen. I've been at it roughly an hour and no problems at all, which is a huge improvement to the 3 crashes in 30 minutes I experienced last time.

    My fingers are crossed. I can live without pretty pretty scenery if it means playing this mod lol

    That's the thing. I loaded up the PL mod separately after uninstalling this one (mainly because I really loved the look of it and if that was all I could have I'd still be halfway content). I got the EXACT same runtime errors twice in an hour. The first time was during the same first battle and the second time was while I was loading the game after it crashed, it crashed again while loading textures. :sad: After that I uninstalled that one and asked about it on the PL forum.

    Ok, I think it has something to do with the Polished Landscapes mod. After reloading native and then downloading that mod only (because man, that landscape looked nice) it crashed. Same error at almost the same place in the battle. No other mods were active at all.

    Anyone getting frequent crashes with this? I've only started trying to use this today and I've had several C++ runtime errors (this is the only mod on atm) during battles and while loading the game. Anyone else get this? >_>

    help sistem please

    I have a similar setup to you

    Q6600 and a GTX260.

    The 400 person battles are a bit much for my machine to handle, but 300 runs just fine. I set battle sizer to that amount and I haven't had problems yet.

    Understandable. Shame about that. When I first loaded up this mod I about fell out of my chair with happiness. This thing is seriously amazing. Unfortunately, something about my computer is triggering that crash like mad with this particular mod. Hopefully it will work itself out over time. Until then, I'll keep an eye on this forum and look forward to playing this mod one day!
