Leute, es war eine schöne Zeit.

Auch wenn ich selbst in den letzten Monaten fast gar nicht mehr da war.

Freue mich aber darauf zu Bannerlord wieder mit Euch das Schwert zu heben!

if you know that, you can equip them due to their story.

that was what i meant ^^

for myself
most time i recruit the companions very late ingame... sometime after starting own faction.
cause that I'm not working with them very often so i don't now how i would equip them

you may take a look here
they are discussing the companions already.

think you could bring your ideas in there too.

don't siege damn castle's at first!

better go for city's
cause you can gain better incoming from city's and you have a good chance, that the guildmaster of the city has the "peace"-quest

i don't say you have to join another faction and i can understand that you don't want to join any of them.

but loosing your castle cause of joining a faction depend on which faction you would join and what relation you have with it's lords...

that for the joining

may i ask which castle is under your controll?
cause not every castle is the same to defend...
maybe if we know the castle, we find someone who knows how to defend specially this castle with minimal casualties against a great number of enemy forces.
anyway you should get yourself some good archers/x-bowman

btw, you know your recruitet prisoners lower the moral of your troop?

if you get a break from enemy attacks, try to sneak into some nord-town and look if the guildmaster has this "please stop the war" quest.
that would be the best option if you try to hold your castle and enemy is approaching from all side

even if he gets a large number of troops each time he is recruiting, these still will be recruits and recruits are no problem for an high tier army...

even if he wins battle after battle while the siege, the moment will appear, when he has no more higher tier-troops.
then there will be a very bloody end for his army of recruits.

other possible way:
you said your enemys are swadia, rhodock and nords?
then search for an other faction, which is in war with one of them and swear loyality to their kingdom.
if they accept and you are a vassal then, your relation with the other faction should change to what your factions relation is.
if your castle is still yours then, they even will send troops to help you defending it when under siege.
but as you know, if they have to cross the whole map, it will be nearly impossible to hold out till reinforcements arrive

first of all to mkae peace with the other factions, you need enough right to rule.
if you don't have enough, they will not even listen to you and keep attacking you till your kingdom lies down in ruins.
so send you companions out to gather more of it.
think that, when you reached about 40~50 rtr the factions would accept peace, if you pay them.
and of cause the faction you got your castle from, wants to have it back...
sometimes if you have a town and at least one vassal, the guildmaster of the town could give you the quest to stop the lords on each side which wants to continue the war.
i'm sure you know that kind of quest, so if you got such a quest, DO IT!
it helps very well

that is, why it's very hard to set up your own kingdom if you haven't got enough gold to pay huge armies, or haven't worked as a vassal to an other kingdom
