When did he say this? Maybe it might of been on an older build

Look at the Gamescom 2019 footage, they talk about continuing on as your children or family member and all of that during the interview. This was after early access was announced. it seems weird to backtrack now. Maybe you might have pre-existing family members and won't have the ability to have children? I don't know.
