    Leave voice chat to the vent servers.  I rather see dev's and programmers doing good work on the game and moving toward release instead of working on incorperating a voice chat system we can already get.

  3. Question about Warband

    Voice chat and voice commands would be best for those that don't have a microphone.  Only problem is that any persons below the ages of 14 have the possibility of being muted right away.

    I don't really mind all that much what culture or faction they add the ones they have are fine but the revamped graphics is what I am stoked about and the multiplayer.

    But with out a doubt we will be seeing either a Japanese Chinese influence faction or an Arab faction either way it will add more content and fun to the game.

    Seems Highly likely when you start to dig into all the different items and things that are locked away from the game hidden inside the items list that is probably a strong reference to what is possibly going to be seen in the near future.  although i don't know if flint locks should be in mount and blade native just yet.

    Its also very possible that it will be Arabic since there are many different helms that are also locked away hidden in the item list that are not for purchase and no troops as of the native settings are using them.

  9. Observations on "Siege"

    Good plans!!

    It reminds me of a tactic we used alot in paintball.  Simply put strong side.

    Main group goes left and the little small group of flanks go right.  They are to focused on the large group to realize the small group.  Allowing the small group to get in from behind and support the strong side by taking out the guys in the back.  In this case for m and b it would probably be best to get those archers dead or the men waiting to defend the top of the ladders.

    FOR EXTRA REALISM MAKE THE GAME.... deleted your save file and you have to make a new character but the world is left in the same state as you left it when your previous character died.  But death would only come from head shots to your characters cranium as well as sickness and starvation.

    Or Dare I Say.

  11. Cavalry need to suffer fall damage.

    It could be quite comical if the horse just took control after it only had a certain amount of health left.  10% health on your horse left and it will just go bonkers.  Running in random directions and jumping around stop and rearing in every which direction.  Buck you off and then try and kill the rider.  Revenge of the Horses!

    It could be a mod.  Horses riding other horses!!
  12. What happened to co-op?

    Either way as long as people have a way to play together.  Whether it be killing each other or fighting together its all good lets kill stuff and or people!

    I was accused of hax once it was a sad day for that person.  Then again it must be hard for a level 80 age of conan assassin to get killed by a level 40 assassin.  I would have been angry too.

    I remember a friend of mine who used to ride horses and one day her and her sister fell off the horse on top of each other.  It would have been hilarious to watch had i been there, but the girl on the button fell down and was fine.  When her sister landed on top of her she broke her leg and had a small spinal fracture, all thanks to sister falling on top of her.

    Leading me to believe that is it all about how you fall.  Naturally I horseman would understand how to properly fall off of his trusted steed.  Whether he takes damage or not should all fall under the calculations.

    Speed chance for damage
    standing still to low - no damage
    medium to gallop - low to medium damage

    Terrain
    Flat - little to no damage
    Down hill  - less damage but sliding
    up hill - face first medium to high damage

    What you hit.
    grass - softer little to no damage
    rocks - little damage to high damage
    trees - high blunt damage

    Then you apply the formula
    Galloping down hill and your horse dies and you hit a rock - instant kill.
    Trotting along on a flat plain and horse has a heart attack and dies and you land on the soft grass - Relaxing
    In half gallop going up hill and your horse dies sending you flying into a branch of a tree and then hit the grass. - branch takes half of your health and the fall from the branch to the ground only does 5% of your health.

    That could work but at the same time who cares they are off their horse already the animation to get up lets you hit them without retaliation perfect to finish the job you started.
