Does anyone have any clue why, or seen some dev discussion about, this lovely new 1.4.1 perpetual-war-hell dumb AI issue? I've really been enjoying this modless 1.4.1 playthrough I'm on, currently Sturgia vassal, but just closed the game in disgust. A few ingame months ago I was able to use all my influence to get a "peace with vlandia" vote passed. I was incredibly happy because that meant now we were ONLY fighting the Khuzait and Southern Empire... the strongest factions in this, and most I guess, playthrough. Two enemies, but technically a one front war around Tyal. That's a good gameplay experience right there.
Now they just declared war on Vlandia again. Even if I had enough influence to vote max influence against it, I don't think I'd win. Of course I don't have anywhere near enough for a max vote, too busy spending it to raise armies to defend our lands, while trying in vain to save enough to put through a peace vote with the Khuzait.
If we aren't going to be able to override this idiocy as a king, then I guess I'll stay a vassal. Or turn merc. Maybe go fight for the Khuzait, they've been earning my respect. The campaign AI is becoming my number 1 issue right now, and I sure hope it's at the top of the list for the devs somewhere.
